Good quality and fit.
Good quality and value. This fit perfectly on my 1988 K1500 Scottsdale# 5.7 liter, standard cab, full size bed, 4x4. I bench bled the master cylinder, on the recommendation of a parts store guy, when buying a bleeding kit and the hose assembly that goes between this and the master cylinder. I highly recommend bench bleeding, especially if doing this on your own. Also recommended buying the hose assembly and bleeding kit at the same time...you'll need it. The old hose/tube ends were seized at both ends and I had to twist them off, to remove the master and slave assemblies. I am glad that I didn't buy the pre-bled master/slave set that comes with assembled with the hose assembly, because unless you drop the clutch and/or engine assembly, I don't think you could get the hose routed without taking them apart.

Price.
Perfect. If you're going to replace this you may as well replace the master cylinder for the price.

Junk parts sold as quality
I purchased this product as a replacement part because the original part was old and worn and the rest of the tranny had been rebuilt. When this part was installed the housing holding the threads for the hydraulic line broke completely off of the rest of the part. The fitting was hand threaded most of the way into the housing and a small box wrench ( that's all that will fit in such close quarters) was used to tighten it. It was probably made outside the USA, so the quality of the casting was obviously not up to any standard. The part was not returnable because it had been "installed." I suggest that if you want anything from this manufacturer/distributor, that you get some sort of guaranty or warranty, covering any non obvious defects,in writing before you pay. Better yet, buy it from someone else who does stand behind their products.
