Fits. Also don't have to follow all the manufacturers dissembly. Just the part that takes the extraction plate off.

mounting options
As I was installing this I had to grab the manual I keep in the original Ruger Box and discovered that Ruger already included a picatinny rail mounting option. I still installed this side mount but found several issue with it in regards to the eye relief with the optics I had bought for it . Add in the fact that the mount required far more effort to level than the "standard Issue" rail Ruger provided, I decided to uninstall the G&G side mount for the Ruger top mount. A far easier install that is incredibly faster and far more straight forward. the fact that there are actual videos online for install tutorials for the Ruger mount was honestly just icing on the cake in favor of it over the G&G side mount. The G&G side mount does have more real-estate for mounting accessories but the added height and the inconvenience of additional steps for install made up my mind to go with the, While less space, straight forward installation and lower mounting. Unless you want to use your Iron sights as back up, incase of malfunction on your installed optics, I would recommend using the money to buy an Accu-strut which would provide noticeable recoil improvements and accuracy.

Would not fit 584 mini 14
The side plate would not fit on my 584 mini 14. It seems like it was very slightly too long. I'm going to return it and see if it was a fluke.
