This pump works perfectly. Absolutely the quietest power steering pump I have ever had. Better than when the truck was new. Highly recommend this brand.

Failed after less than 3 months of use. I thought at first fluid leaked out by the way it started whining and difficulty to turn. Checked fluid and it was still to the full line. Don't waste your time or money.

So I bought this power steering pump for my 04 Silverado extended 1500 2wd fit is perfect runs smooth and quiet great product I've bought several things from this company and all have been perfect now about Amazon. So the first one I ordered looked like it had been installed for a year or two the shaft was wobbly it was just junk I did buy a used in new condition I opened the oil soaked box and instantly knew it was junk. A little back ground I work in construction so I don't make a lot of money so I couldn't return it as customer service said 2 weeks to return it and get my money I ordered it on a Friday it came Saturday 30 minutes later I was on the phone with customer service because I had to be at work Monday morning long story short it's Sunday night already got my money refunded order a new one and have it installed and ready for work in the morning morel to this story is Amazon is a great company and even if you get delivered a bad part don't get mad and upset because Amazon will make it right no matter what they have to do I have bought so much stuff from them and have always been glad I do business with them and not anyone else so thanks Amazon!! Your freaking awesome!!

Works well but like others have said, its not as quiet as the stock pump. small hum at low rpms but doesnt bother me but may for someone wanting perfection.

The pump was easy to install and works great.

Installed in early February as per instructions. Ran vehicle daily for two months. Main pump failed catastrophically causing us to be stranded on side of road. Upon removal and inspection the pump bearings failed and caused the shaft to break.

So far no leaks, a lot better then it was.
