Professional Beekeeper Suit (Jacket, Pants, Gloves) Beekeeping Suit Bee Suits for Men Women

I am very allergic to wasps and similar. I had to clear a grown over flower bed that was infested with wasps. This worked very well to protect my face and arms. No stings despite several of them trying to get my face. I am not sure it would have protected my legs or torso as it was a little too tight, but I am loosing weight and it will be fine when it is more loose fitting. I wear a size 2X and am 5"3. The top was just fine, but I am heavier in my bottom half. I have large hips and this was almost too tight for me, but I got it on and was able to bend over without any seams splitting for the few hours I wore it. If you are close to a 1X or even a Large, this would be ideal for you. This isn't going to be sturdy enough for frequent use, but I didn't need that and even if it starts to fail, the gloves and hat appear to be plenty sturdy and will provide most of the protection. Very happy with the soft leather gloves. I was able to grasp weeds well. This isn't durable enough for a lot of thorns (I had some), but it hung in there. Do wear a baseball hat under this hat to give more protection to the top of your head and keep it in place better so you can see. Temperature was pretty good in it. It was a very hot Texas morning and while it was warm, it was not as bad as I expected, it's a fairly loose weave. Bonus that it protects you from sun pretty well too. The stress reduction of knowing they couldn't sting me was well worth the price and the little bit of extra warmth during the project.

GREAT quality for the price. Cost us, in total, with soap etc. 25% of the cost of the professional our neighbor hired (which I would recommend a professional if you're not a do-it-yourself type - THIS IS NO JOKE - my husband got stung 2x before getting the suit and it can be dangerous and life threatening to approach a yellow jacket's nest ill prepared). He also watched a lot of videos. We learned to handle it in the evening when they're asleep - not during the day. The yellow jacket hive was in the ground with what appeared to be just a hole in our yard. He drowned them with dish soap, used a wet vac to vacuum them up, then dug up the nest (which can be 4 feet deep) - NO BEE STINGS with this suit which we're happy to have since we're seeing more nests in the neighborhood and may need to use again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SUIT FOR U.S. East Coast YELLOW JACKET NEST. Do not, do not approach yellow jacket nest (they are aggressive and chased him-they will chase you!) without a suit for yellow jackets or call the professional..not worth it. Our only experience is with yellow jackets and cannot speak to the effectiveness of the suit in other situations. Do your research.

Used to get rid of in ground hornets nest. First time doing this. I am 5'-7", 220 lbs, this would fit a bigger man. I bought the XXL All hands, waste and feet have strong elastic, no hornets got through. Gloves are very nice, thick leather, thick cloth goes up to your elbow with strong elastic. Upper body has good net mask, the head top can be unzipped and flipped to the rear like a hoodie if you need to get to your face or head. I chose to wear a hat under neath because I was afraid the hornets would sting my head. The cloth is thick and the hornets stingers did not have a chance. I literally stood at the nest spraying and praying, thousands of hornets buzzed and hit me, was kinda worried at first (had never done this), but the suit protects you 100%. The hornets covered me like crazy to defend their nest. I shoveled the nest around, kept spraying, hopefully the 10 cans of Spectracide works. If not, I will buy the dust. All in all, this suit is perfect. I bagged it back up, put it on a shelf for the next hornets nest (if any) I need to get rid of.

This looks like a nice bee suit. I’ve never had one so I don’t know as far as quality or thickness of material. I will say, I usually wear an xl and for something like this I would order a xxl for myself. Several reviews said it runs small. I didn’t buy this for myself but for a mannequin display in my shop with bee products. I was thinking of getting these to sell in my shop. But just looking at this one on the mannequin; I think they run VERY small. But is very nice. The hat zips to the shirt, and the shirt has elastic at the waist and cuffs of sleeves and the pants are elastic at the waist and ankles. So the shirt and pants overlap each other. The gloves are long and come up over the sleeves of the shirt and have elastic in the ends of the gloves. * I just double checked: I ordered a a xl-xxl but it runs like a Medium in size.

Empty house next door to my house has an old pigeon coop. The pigeon coop became a breeding ground for yellow jacket nests. They got so bad that I couldn't go into my back yard. And they started to make nests on my house in my roof shingles. I purchased this beekeeping suit hoping it would protect me well enough. The quality of the material is like tyvek, but twice as thick. I am 150lbs 6' tall. The suit fit me perfectly. I taped up the ankles to my boots just to make sure they didn't ride up. The elastic is pretty good quality. I didn't need to tape up any other opening on the suit because the elastic was doing it's job. On the pigeon coop there were 14 hives about 6" in diameter. This suit allowed me to take my time and spray them then remove the hive. The wasps were very angry durring this time. They were dive-boming me and hitting the suit. It sounded like drops of rain on a tarp. Didn't get stung one time. This was much cheaper, safe, and much more fun than a bug guy to come out to my house.

We had yellow jackets that had crawled up inside the wall of our porch. (A total of 11 nest were removed. We bought can after can of spray. Nothing phased them. I bought his this bee keeper suit. He knocked the whole wall in under three windows. They really went after him. He could see the stingers working so hard on the net over his face. The suit closed up very tightly. Had thick gloves that went up past the elbow. It was super efficient . And I’m sure less expensive than an exterminator. We will be keeping this suit for sure. It was a great purchase.

Not comfortable and much smaller than size indicated. Must be asian sizes. Material is thick and does the job but it is very nasty feeling material. Will end up buying a better quality suit.

So i noticed i had an underground hornets nest near my front door. I moved some soil and about 100 chased me and stung me a few times. When i was inside, one got in and stung me bad. When you do that in my own home, in front of my child, well my friend, thats a declaration of war!!! Now i didnt want em all dead, i wanted to be the one doing the killing!! I came on Amazon and read the reviews and didnt expect much, but I ordered one size bigger after reading. When it came, i was suprised- it was thicker than i expected and also the size id expect. I confidently put it on and went right outside- i know youre supposed to wait until night or morning- but this kinda vengeance waits for no man!! I stuck the spade into the ground and thousands came out- i had to grab myself because i could hear the tapping of them trying to get me- once i realised i was indeed totally protected, it was “time to die” for the little basts!! I dug up the nest while they were all pissed tryna sting me, but to no avail!! I even got really close as i out the nest (size of a football) in the trash bag- i wanted them to see the whites of their killers eyes!!! I did buy powder too, but it was needed as on e i dug it up and bagged it, they all saw who was the boss and flew off. Spare a thought for the other hornets who was out hunting or doing whatever they do- they came back to their house gone, their friends and fam dead and it just started to piss down with rain- life comes at you fast Mr Hornet, but if youre taking a shot at the king, you better not miss!! I look forward to any of them returning to build a new place, as i will destroy them too- in the meantime im trying to convince my son to get one and we can go as beekeepers at Halloween- Power Rangers are so played out and not only will it save me money on a Halloween outfit for me, but he can bee (you see what i did there!?!?) my assistant and tape the next gencide!!!!

Too tight

Works but the mesh is weak and will lay on your face. Have to be careful when handling bees so you don’t get stung in face. The rest of the fabric seems thin as well. Haven’t been stung through but I suspect it won’t last and will wear out.
