The Chuckit Sport 26L Dog Ball Launcher has been a game-changer for my large dog! Our dogs love this ball launcher! I can throw the ball long distances without any arm strain. The balls wear out, and as described by others, tennis balls don’t fit. Buy extra balls if this is of concern. We bought a few of the “Chuck It” rubber 3” balls and they have worked well for our dogs. It’s a great value and fun for the dogs.

I can't throw a ball to save my soul. Just got this today and lobbed a ball to the far end of my 1- acre yard. The dog loves it, and I love it!

Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand. My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!! He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again! Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

Helpful for throwing as much as my dog wants to fetch. I actually had to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months after getting my dog - never had a dog with this much energy before! The Chuckit really helps. Downside: The ball that comes with it is larger than a tennis ball, so may be too much for smaller doge. I can't imagine my sister-in-law's french bulldog carrying it! Also, in our house it gets destroyed within minutes, as my dog is a strong chewer. For this situation, I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Black, size Large. KONG EXTREME LARGE Rubber Chew Toy For Dogs - World's Best Dog Toy (K1) This is shaped sort of like a snowman, which means it bounces unpredictably at times. My dog eventually chews the "head" off of this toy, but the remaining 2/3 still fits in the Chuckit (and is actually easier to throw with the "head" missing!). One caveat: the KONG is significantly heavier than the ball included with the Chuckit, so be aware of that... Also, we ordered our first Chickit in October 2015, then needed to replace it in May of 2017, as it broke. I think the plastic became brittle over that time, as we left it out in the sun & rain in Florida. Since it is cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. (We ordered three Kong toys over that same period of time!) To summarize, it's a very helpful tool to get the ball further, faster, with less strain, than without it. Knowing there are alternatives to the included ball for heavy chewers makes it worthwhile.

People… please listen up and try this “Chuck it” especially if you have a challenging or a reactive dog. I thought I was exercising my Rottweiler enough, taking him for walks every other day for a mile or so letting him run around my fenced in backyard on his own, taking him for rides in the car periodically bringing him to doggy daycare weekly, but I was having issues with him and my trainer suggested buying a chuck and I just can’t believe how much of a difference this made I am no longer struggling with my dogs behavior. I play check it with him for five or 10 minutes in the morning before we start our day. It’s important to do it before he has his breakfast because of bloat but he is so well behaved afterwards I do five or 10 minutes of training give him his breakfast he stays home while I’m at work no longer destroying my house with his little puppy ways at 14 months and then anytime I need to take him anywhere to the vet or to doggy daycare or to the groomer. I play chocolate for five or 10 minutes with him and wear him out and his behavior is so much better he’s not barking growling at other dogs he’s not just being a jerk. He’s so much better because he’s being more evenly balanced as far as getting out all that pinned up energy that he still had in him that I was unaware of kudos to my trainer for telling me about chuck it I hope you guys try it. It makes such a difference. I have a happier dog and that makes me happy.

Works as expected, a standard tennis ball is a little small and will fall out if not careful but it's honestly not a big deal. I'm able to get the ball out to like 100+ feet as apposed to throwing it with my hand which gets me like 40-50ft.

Size large ball launcher! Many fetch throws go over fence... It's ok, my GSD is trained 4 that 2! Chuck-on!

I bought this hoping to turn my backyard into Wimbledon for dogs. First impression: 10/10 launch power. The ball practically achieved orbit. My dog, Bear, was thrilled — tail wagging like a helicopter, zoomies activated, full Olympic sprint mode. But then… tragedy. After exactly one enthusiastic session, the ball split in two like it just found out it was adopted. Bear looked at me like I’d betrayed him personally. To be clear: The launcher is fantastic, the ball flew great. Straight, far, beautiful arc. If there were Dog Fetch Olympics, we would’ve medaled. But durability? Let’s just say the ball had the structural integrity of a croissant in a thunderstorm. So yes, the launch? Incredible. The fun? Intense. The lifespan? About as long as a sneeze.
