I picked up a laminator at a local Goodwill store. I decided to order these pouches to see how they would work with it. They are very easy to use and do a very good job of laminating both sides of a letter or document. A regular 8.5"x11" page fits perfect in these 9"x11.5" pouches. I have laminated several documents where water or other liquids might damage them. Automobile and Boat documents, workshop plans, Birth and death records, all laminated easily. I did have to learn to insert the sealed end of the pouch into the laminator first to avoid getting any bubbles or wrinkles in the finished laminated item. I am now on my second box of pouches. The ease of use makes laminating very enjoyable. Make sure your laminator can do the hot setting as that is the type of laminating pouches these are.

When I looked at the cost of paying a copy shop to laminate it made much more sense to buy a laminator and sheets. These sheets worked great with my laminator and were a great value.

Good quality

These are excellent and easy to use. The quality and price are awesome. They can be hard to find in a store but easy to order from Amazon.

Overall, this works; BUT as a small business, I do need consistent quality and these are iffy at times. I feel like every so often I will pull one out of the box and it feels thinner than the rest of the stack. Also I have noticed that when laminating, it takes 2-3 runs for it to lose some of the cloudiness (like the adhesive in the laminating pouch isn't working properly or something). I feel like for 5mil they are not 5mil possibly, as my Llama brand matte 5mil comes out much thicker feeling once cooled. I am liking my Amazon Basics brand 3mil Glossy and Llama 5mil better than this but i would still buy these again for the price and need for glossy 5mil! I know wishy washy review but I am trying to be honest about brands I'm using for comparison!

I bought these for use for my TTRPG group, and paired them with an "Amazon's Choice" laminator. They're great: easy to use, rugged, and they laminate clear. I've been using them for a year or more at this point and they work well. They create attractive, documents, and perfectly fit a standard American letter page or smaller.
