So Much Fun
We enjoy the series of games. They have different goals and strategies. It sometimes gets very competitive.

Great game
My family loves this entire game series and I'm happy I could jump on the chance to get this for myself at a great price. Only quibble to the "good" description for the copy I got was that it was explained as "minor cosmetic damage" to the top and bottom parts of the box. The extensive taping up I had to do to secure the box was a bit beyond minor. But the box is in decent shape now, and the game contents were fine. With this UK version, players also visit France, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland in pursuit of their train routes. This requires acquisition of visas to enter those countries (need train cards to buy them). Same thing for some of the enhanced resource cards. But my family has enjoyed this game on the times we've played. I don't think we've played the Pennsylvania side of the board yet, so I can't comment on that one.**It is important to note that this is another expansion set to the game series. You will need a copy of the original Ticket to Ride or Europe version for the train pieces and train cards.

It was a hit!!
Note: you must have the original game!!My brother and my sister (sil) introduced us to the original game and while I was extremely hesitant, I’m absolutely addicted and is a must play everytime we’re together so when I saw this, I HAD to get it! It’s all the right things!! You get new destination cards, 2 new boards and a fresh deck of colored. It’s the same game, with a fresh new spin/twist! It’s easy to pick up!! I will say, I think this one is a bit harder then the original, less double track options (making you go the longer routes) and longer routes in general (but worth more points)I’m glad I decided to buy it and recommend it to anyone looking to add to their collection!!

Somwhat Difficult to Play
We play these boards using just the "original game" rules. Both boards are nice and well laid-out. The Pennsylvania board also includes upstate New York and some cities in other surrounding states. The UK board includes Ireland and a somewhat-bizarre New York City route. The "stock scheme" for the Pennsylvania board seemed unnecessary to us.The UK board is almost all very-short routes that are a bit frustrating to play.

A Step above the original Ticket to Ride Game with new cards - Expansion
After spending a year in England and traveling over UK we were excited to try out the Ticket to Ride UK. This is a expansion board which means you need one of the original Ticket to Ride boards (US or Europe). There are a few new rules to this board which include concession cards (like a visa needed to enter another country) and technology cards. These took the game to the next level. It took our family a bit to figure out the game and we watched a few videos on how to play. I see this game staying in our family game night rotation!

An excellent addition to our Ticket to Ride Games.
My. husband and I have started having game night every Wednesday night accompanied by some wine. One of the first games we bought was Ticket to Ride and fell in love with it immediately. it was easy to play, a bit competitive and didn't require so much concentration that it ruined our wine buzz. We've since bought the 1910 Expansion Pack, Ticket to Ride Europe and the Nordic version. We thought we didn't need any more versions, but then this one sounded so interesting.I have to point out that this review is only for the Pennsylvania map, we haven't even tried the other side yet!The Pennsylvania side added shares of stock. When you complete a route, you can choose a share of stock to keep. You get points at the end of the game based on the number of shares of stock and how low your numbered stock is. It sounds like it might be confusing, but it's not at all. What makes this so fun is that you really have no idea who is going to win until the stock points are added up. Some stocks are worth more points than others and you learn to go for those first. There is no longest route bonus, so you don't have to focus on that, however there is a bonus for most completed destinations. Between that bonus and getting some good stock, you can surprisingly pull ahead at the end. We've watched some videos on how to play the United Kingdom side and it looks like it adds in several more layers, we'll probably start it soon and I'll come back and edit this review.
