Perfect size.
I was tired of having my $400.00 smart watch battery last 1 day before needing a recharge. My previous smart watches , all in around the $400.00 range typically lasted around 2 to three years before needing replacement.I bought this simple Timex watch with no bells and whistles and couldnโt be happier. It tells the time when I look at it, I donโt have to push any buttons. It is lightweight ,looks good and does everything a WATCH should do. Oh, and is a fraction of the cost of my other watches. Some have said this watch is noisy, I have not found that in my case , actually I found it very very quiet. I can barely hear mine and verified it with others in case I was losing my hearing. So far just a perfect classic looking watch that happens to be very affordable.

Great casual watch
Love the look and the fit on my slender wrist. Amazing IndiGlo feature. Great casual watch for men that looks more expensive than it is. Ticker is quite loud so keep it away from your bed when sleeping.

The "Weekender" That Never Lets You Forget It's the Weekend
The Timex Weekender 40mm, the horological equivalent of that friend who insists they're "low maintenance" while requiring constant validation. This watch doesn't just tick; it announces its presence with the subtlety of a marching band practicing in your bedroom at 3 AM. Let's start with that famous Timex "Indiglo" feature, which sounds impressive until you realize it's just a fancy name for "glow-in-the-dark but only when you press this tiny button that requires the dexterity of a brain surgeon." Want to check the time in the dark? Hope you've been doing finger exercises. The 40mm case strikes that perfect balance of being too large for smaller wrists and too small for anyone who actually wants to make a statement. It's the watch equivalent of ordering a medium coffee when you really wanted a large but didn't want to seem greedy. And those interchangeable NATO straps? Sure, you can swap them out faster than your weekend plans, but let's be honest no matter which $8 fabric strip you choose, you're still wearing what essentially amounts to a slightly more sophisticated friendship bracelet that happens to tell time. The "water resistant to 30 meters" claim is adorable, assuming you plan on timing your shallow end pool lounging rather than any actual aquatic adventures. This watch treats water like a vampire treats holy water best kept at a respectful distance. At least it keeps accurate time, though given how loudly it ticks, you'll never forget it's there. Consider it the world's most affordable meditation on the relentless passage of time, complete with audio commentary. Two thumbs up for affordability, two thumbs down for subtlety. Perfect for people who want to look punctual without looking expensive, mission accomplished.

Ole reliable
Three years later and Iโm still using the original battery, if you know weekenders their famous for having a loud ticking sound but I call that character, although one drawback of this watch is itโs cheap nato strap but I bought a new one for it anyways, beyond that itโs a tank of a watch and definitely worth its price

Great purchase
It looks really nice. The noise is audible but not that loud.
