Vintage Overdrive Guitar Pedal, Smooth Overdrive Tone with RC4558 Chip for Electric Guitar, True Bypass (JF-01)

For my Reasoning for purchasing this Specific Pedal was to Come close to an Ibanez Tube screamer pedal without paying that Price. NOW to break it down, it will give you a Distorted sound, but it can also give you a Very Punk Crunchy Sound (in this case heavy Palm Muting eccentric) if set to your Preference. It's very simple to operate with just 3 knobs and simple to power whether through Batteries or A/C Adapter. (NOTE* Having it on a Pedal board with at least 6 Pedals, in my case, doesn't distort the Quality of the Output, just make sure it's in the Right Order of Placement.) I love it, it gets the Job Done and the Price is like cherry that sold the Ice-cream.-So Overall-Quality- 5/5Ease of Use- 5/5Adaptation to specific Situations- 4/5Price- 4/5

These JOYO pedals work way better than you would expect. I have used different JOYO effects pedals, and I have never been disappointed

I bought this lil crunch pedal as a backup to a Tube Screamer. I was skeptical at the price, but it works and it's not too bad. Should be fine as a backup, I only use a small amount of overdrive for some older rock songs.I will say the battery compartment isn't terribly well designed, the circuit board is exposed and you could possibly damage it if you're not careful when changing batteries.

I mostly heavy metal old school metallica, pantera,etc. Ive exploring more blues jimmy hendrix, led Zeppelin and having hard time getting this super clean high tone out of my rig, so I got tube screamer to see if it would help and it did. As soon I plugged it in went to neck pickup and started playing licks and man what difference. Didn't want to spend alot of money, just to see if that is what I needed. Very happy with sound and don't see the need to spend more on a pedal when this one sounds very good. Very happy!

It's a tube screamer through and through.First one I got had no gain, returned it and got one that works exactly as expected. It's not the most amazing gain circuit but in some situations it's exactly what you want. This sounds like any other TS9 design out there, and even has through hole components if you want to try to mod it.I have a ton of gain pedals, I wanted one that was stock setting and cheap and this fit the bill!

Worked for a little bit and now nothing. I tried everything to get it to work but nothing so far. At least it wasn't expensive. Maybe I'll just get a real tube screamer next time.

I know it's an inexpensive pedal but it really doesn't do what I expected. Maybe it's supposed to be subtle.

After playing with this for a few months, I really like it. I am an intermediate player, just at home. For the price it is an excellent pedal. It goes up in gain, volume in nice linear fashion. Not too strong but very easy to use. I am not a shredder but if I were I might say go with a tube screamer, but it gets the job done. I use it mainly with my Epiphone Pro IV for that big warm sound, but it works well with my telecaster also. Can't beat it for the price.

Sustituye a otro igual que tuve y que me duró muchos años, pero que dejó de funcionar repentinamente. Experimenté con otros pedales tipo Tubescreamer pero no me gustaron. Este tiene un sonido especial que me ha seducido toda la vida. Por tanto, no tuve otro remedio que volver a adquirir otro igual. Gran pedal sin duda que ya se ha convertido en todo un clásico.

Running it into my Orange Dark Terror and I'm enjoying the results. I was looking into tube screamer pedals/ overdrive and a few other clones and decided to give this little guy a shot after having good results with a previous joyo product I purchased. The price is right, quality is solid, does its intended job and sound great. Can't go wrong.

Nous autres guitaristes savons bien que la qualité du son n'est pas toujours proportionnelle à la qualité du matériel.Ici donc, si la qualité de fabrication d'une MIJ handcrafted est bien supérieure (et le prix aussi), la comparaison sonore final est vraiment déconcertante !J'ai pu la comparer à une made-in-Japan handwired à plus de 150€ et elle n'a pas à rougir même s'il y a des différences.Hé bien moi je préfère la Joyo car elle est plus polyvalente alors que la MIJ est sans doute un peu plus lyrique en solo et aussi plus identifiable quand on sait ce qu'on recherche.À mon goût, la Joyo (que vous trouverez aussi sous la marque Harley Benton) donne de meilleurs résultats en rythmiques crunchy.Elle est également robuste et durable, et true bypass. Donc on cherche encore le défaut de cette pédale à 30€.Si vous cherchez une pédale de crunch pas chère type tube screamer, avec une attaque un peu boostée pour les rythmiques, c'est le bon choix.

L'ho trovato un prodotto veramente ottimo. Confrontato con un Boss sd-1 non ho notato differenze particolari. Anche le regolazioni dei potenziometri sono simili. La cosa che apprezzo di più dei pedali Boss è il pedalino per l'attivazione che è molto comodo e ampio a differenza dei mini switch, ma per il resto personalmente posso alternare i due pedali. Il pedale Joyo è versatile e robusto. Non ho notato nessun ronzio sia utilizzato con testata valvolare si con amplificatore digitale.Il suono è ottimo, meno luminoso del Boss e con tanto sustain.Mentre il Boss agisce su tutto lo spettro di frequenze lo joyo agisce principalmente sulla gamma media, che diventa più pastosa e densa.Era la soluzione che cercavo per il mio Fender Champion che è ricco di basse e alte squillanti, ma un pò troppo scavato. Con l'od Joyo posso eliminare il suono clean a volte troppo sottile dell'amplificatore diglitale senza comprimere gli estremi che rimangono caratteristici Fender.Insomma un'accoppiata bellisima...
