Q: Does anybody know if there are cross bars that can be mounted to the back end of a 2014 jk wrangler? The rain gutters only go back to doors

Troy. I had to mount the bars across the gutter over the rear doors on my 2017, as I didn't want to NOT be able to open the freedom tops. However you can also attach to the freedom top gutter if needed. When I realized our roof doesn't have a full gutter, I looked for a solution. The only thing I found, was a much larger basket, that mount the rear brackets under the window hinges. Good luck!

It will fit your 2017 unlimited 4 door,but not fit for Soft Top and Sky One-Touch Power Top.

You would have to measure the roof from gutters to see if the dimensions work.

Q: Can roof racks be used to haul lumber/plywood?

Yes, but keep in mind the weight of the materail being placed on the rack. Do not exceed the load rating.
