Betty Crocker Bisquick Gluten Free Pancake & Baking Mix, 16 oz, 6 Pack

I am gluten intolerant and I use Gluten Free Bisquick. I substitute it in any recipe that calls for Bisquick or any baking mix. It makes great fluffy pancakes. My grandkids love them. They don’t realize they are eating gluten free.

Excellent. Autoship is fabulous. I cannot always find this in local grocery stores. Excellent to use for GF baking. I use this to make delicious GF butter cookies and also GF chocolate chip cookies. Recipes are from their website.

When my s/s was coveted to 6 boxes of the Gluten-Free Bisquick mixes. I wasn't sure if it was a item I would continue to get. As pancakes were primary all that I was making with it. Gluten-free cooking was still new to me. As I had developed allergies to gluten and soy. * The box does carry a soy caution stating it may contain soy ingredients * I have used it for a year with no reactions. Coming from a family of severe allergies I would recommend being careful if you are soy sensitive too because everyone is unique when it comes to allergy attacks. When my first box of 6 boxes arrived. Trying waffles was the next recipe I tried as waffles were one of my most missed foods. Wow was I amazed and very happy by the Belgian waffles that I was able to make with this mix. After finding the perfect waffle maker and setting. We could have waffles golden brown and crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. We really couldn't taste any difference from these waffles and those from our favorite restaurant. Since we had the extra mix one day I tried making waffle sandwiches for us. Both grandma and I liked them. Now I 'm glad for the larger amount being available. As my allergies have made finding commercially made bread a challenge. This mix has become my bread-substitution With waffles or pancakes. So far I haven't found a shortening that fits into my diet so I have yet to try the pizza and biscuit recipes . When I find something that works for me. I will add a update. Overall opinion : At first it sounds like a lot for 6 boxes when the boxes aren't as big as regular Bisquick. It averages about $ 4.99 a box. What our local stores are asking if not on a sale. If one person is needing it , it seems like a lot of boxes. But it has a very good flavor and texture. One my grandmother prefers over the original and always wants to know if there's enough to share if she smells it cooking. I always make sure there is. It's very versatile. I have used fresh blueberries and bananas as stir- ins. There is only one con that I have noticed humidity has a tendency to effect it . On our really hot days the batter came out thinner and I needed to add in more of the mix. To me Bisquick Gluten-Free is a must have and I would give it my highest reccomendation.

Work well with recipes

I made biscuits, but they were a bit grainy. I will let them sit for a while before I bake them next time to see if it helps. The flavor was good though.
