This is the real deal. I bought this after trying a much cheaper one that didn't work at all. What a difference! This one works great. The quality is so much better. I'm glad I tried it. You get what you pay for. Just be careful not to catch skin in it. The threading does hurt a little. I mean you are pulling hair out so naturally it stings. I'm not too bothered by it. I have a higher threshold to minor things. It's clean and easy to use. I'm sure that it will take practice if I do my brows. For now I'm excited to remove stubborn chin hair. After menopause I started growing facial hair that is thick and dark. This works well for that.

Yes, this product effectively removed the peach fuzz; even on my jawline. HOWEVER, after a couple uses, the string slackens & renders it unusable; just as the instructions state; "Each thread should last an average of 2 to 3 treatments." The product comes with five replacement threads. So, this product only lasts for ten treatments. Then, rethreading the gizmo is frustratingly complicated by the confusing illustrations & conflicting written instructions. In addition, the product online manuals' information & visuals in both its PDF & digital (aka, YOUtube) formats are frustratingly poor quality. For example, the twelve page ad-filled manual is filled with ads. Less than 10% of it pages offer actual usage instructions/tips. And those scattered tidbits of information are poorly designed, organized, written & illustrated. Meanwhile, the YOUtube's substandard audio & indistinct visuals need to be augmented by captions in order to be minimally comprehensible.

This product works as described, but it does take time to learn how to use it most effectively. I'm giving it 4 stars because the threads do break pretty easily when you're learning and you only get 10. (The one that comes preloaded is supposed to be removed. It works but I think it's mainly there to demonstrate how to set it up.) Another downside is that finding replacement threads at a reasonable price is difficult. It seems to be seasonal; they may or may not be available. The replacement is sold as "one" cassette with 10 threads. So you will just be getting that one cassette like what comes in the original box for about $15 plus shipping. Previously l was able to get free shipping, but today it is cheaper to just buy another kit. (I'll have a backup) It is also helpful to watch a YouTube video to learn how to use. Good luck!

gets hair very well. wouldn’t recommend for eyebrows due to the shape of the product, but worked amazing on face and lip. i wouldn’t recommend using it multiple times.

It takes a while to get used to how to work this threading machine. Even after getting a hang of it, it did not work for me. I have thicker hair on my face and the thread could not grab it. On the off chance that it did, the threading machine jammed and I could hear it struggling to pull it and it would cause it to snap shut. If you have very light peach fuzz or you have a very light ‘stache … it might work for you. I had very high hopes for this … as threading gets very expensive for a hairy gal.

I grow unwanted hair in my lip area as well in my chin area. This works y’all! It’s just like threading, I thread every two weeks however, I have been saving money with this tool because I haven’t needed to go as often the refills are a bit pricy however, it’s a great tool for emergencies and for the in between until you go back to threading. 10/10 refills can be purchased on their website or on amazon

I literally never write reviews but I am extremely frustrated because this could actually be a really good product in theory. However of course it was too good to be true. The first two times I used it things were great and I thought I solved my problem of going to the threading lady for my upper lip. Then I started to worry about how to get the refills bc they’re made so specifically with those two little pieces at the end. Then this morning, when I truly needed to thread before a big day at work, I tried to refill the thread and every single one of them broke off while I was trying to get it onto the last little groove at the end. WHY is the thread made so tight?!?! I just wasted all of my refills trying to get one piece of thread onto the tool. And once the little ball breaks off, the thread is completely useless. I know the thread needs to be tight, but it literally needs to be made a millimeter or less longer in order to actually put on a refill. Now the tool, which is a good tool, is useless without the specific thread that I need for it because I just used them all up trying to re-thread. So frustrating!

Faccio il filo arabo da sempre dalla mia estetista e lo trovo dolorosissimo ma buono, posso dire che questo prodotto è la risoluzione ai miei problemi usandolo personalmente posso modulare la velocità di depilazione per cui dolore quasi zero l'unica domanda non riesco a trovare i fili di ricarica per il resto voto 5 stelle semplicemente fantastico Nb attenzione al cambio del filo ne ho rotto uno invano in quanto bisogna inserire il filo nel secondo solco in basso solo a completamento del cross del filo altrimenti non sale nell ultimo ingresso basta leggere attentamente le istruzioni cosa che io non ho fatto i vari tutorial di video nel web non lo spiegano perché probabilmente sono un altro marchio.

Very hard to use on all part of face

I really like this product as it is promising. I really found it hard to find the perfect product, where I can just remove hair without much fuss or time being wasted. As soon as I saw the Slique Hair Threading and Removal System, I just had to get it and I have no regrets. This product has not only prevented my skin from getting scared, due to using other methods of removing my facial hair, but it also is quicker and better than using a piece of thread and hurting my fingers lol I love this product, hence I told and showed it to all my friends, because sharing is caring and ladies don't waste your time and energy on products you're not happy with, use the Slique Hair Threading and Removal System and not only will you have a happy smiling face, you will also have a happy healthy skin :) P.s Slique.Shop are amazing with the delivery, I was really happy getting my product fast, we all like good customer service when it's to do with getting our delivery quick and on time right, well this is the place you need to shop at. Came broken with missing parts

This tool works really well & was very pleased by it. Used for lip/chin/face/brows. About 2-3months after purchase noticed thread had become slack so went to replace with one of the original accompanying replacement threads. Couldn’t re-thread it following the instructions for the life of me! Eventually compared the replacement thread against original one that came in the tool & was shorter. All 5 replacement threads were about 10mm shorter than the original! Very disappointed..rethreaded the original worn down thread following instructions & it all fitted fine again fine
