This stuff is a lifesaver for me.  I have a bad back injury and as I get on in years my knees are problematic too.   I NEVER go without it anymore.  So ...

It takes a minimum of two weeks to "load up" and get this stuff working.  The onset of relief is slow so you might not notice that you're feeling better.  Seriously, I know that sounds strange but it creeps up on you.  It's hard to remember pain, especially once it has been alleviated.   What will likely happen is what others who've answered you have said.  You'll think you're OK, that the problem has gone away, and you'll stop taking this.  Or you'll just forget because you don't hurt nearly so bad as you used to.  You might not figure out why right away but the pain comes back and in about two weeks you're going to regret that you stopped taking it.  Then you've got 2 weeks to a month to get back to full loading and get to maximum relief again.

It's best to take this at night before you go to bed.  It has time to fully absorb with a minimum of digestive , muscular and joint activity.  I take three of these every night.  I used to take two and had to step up to three.

I see your name is Eric so I'm going to assume you're male.  If so, stay away from preparations with chondroitin in them.  Chondroitin has been shown to cause prostate problems and you won't miss it because it would do little to nothing for you anyway.  Glucosamine and MSM are what you want, this Kirkland stuff works good.

Hello, is this pure glucosamine sulfate? Or glucosamine chloride with sulfate added?

This is glucosamine HCL and MSM.  This form of glucosamine is supposed to be more effective and is usually much more expensive.  I use these pills for my dogs and have for many years.  My vet told me not to bother with glucosamine sulfate as it would not help.

MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a bioavailable sulfur. Sulfur is a necessary component that works in conjunction with Glucosamine to provide the building blocks of collagen, an important component of healthy joints and connective tissue.

Depends on when it was manufactured and each bottle is different. I purchased my bottle in early January 2019. Expiration on bottle is 08/21. Taking 2 a day I'll be done with my bottle before August 2020.
