Beautiful
I had never heard of Mark Masri, but the bookstore was playing La Voce and I immediately bought the CD. Masri's voice is gorgeous and the music is beautiful. However, the CD loses a star in my book because the schmaltz factor needs to be ratcheded down about 100 notches. In fact, I like it better when he sings in a language other than English because the lyrics are so sappy that you will need a supply of insulin to listen to the CD in one sitting. That being said, it is lovely to hear a CD that doesn't make you want to run for the earplugs. I'll take sappy and beautiful any time.

Incredible CD! This young man has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, and he sings with such passion. The choice of his songs is also wonderful. I listen to it constantly. When will he be performing in our area? Can't wait to hear more from and about him.

La Voce was a surprizing find
I was in a gift shop when I heard Mark Masri singing over their speaker system. I have always enjoyed the Four Tenors and then Il Divo and I think Mark Masri goes right along with that style of music except some of my up to date favorites too he includes also. I was happy to be able to purchase one of this C.D.'s.

Mark Masri's La Voce
Mark doesn't sing opera. He sings the genre of classical crossover and it is music that goes straight to the heart. Classical crossover appeals to a larger audience than opera in it's purist form. Mark's voice and his interpretation of the music is quite amazing. I love this CD and I am eagerly waiting my advanced order of Mark's next CD and his PBS special.

Beautiful, impressive vocal skills, Mark Masri has hit the ball out of the park with this one. If you enjoy the vocal styles of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli, you should enjoy Mark Masri.

This man can REALLY SING!
I read an article about Mark Masri in the Toronto Star a few weeks ago and decided to check out his website and then watch some of his youtube performances. This man can really sing, and is destined to become the new Josh Groban. He has a gorgeous voice and can sing in numerous languages. His perfect pitch, smouldering matinee-idol looks and beautiful tonality make him a pleasure to listen to and watch. I can't wait for his next CD!!

such a talent
I bought this album for myself a few years ago and now I have bought one for a work colleague. This is such a wonderful album. The first song gives me goodbumps. The songs he has chosen are perfect for his voice and the arrangements suit his style and voice perfectly. I also have his next album "Intimo". I can't wait for another to be released.
