I love them! - They arrived earlier than anticipated, which is always a great thing - I ordered it in Purple and so glad that I did. The color is beautiful, very vibrant without being too bright. I'll be able to quickly distinguish my luggage from the rest on the conveyor belt. - Purple was also less in price than any of the other colors. - The built in TSA locks are a major plus, easy to use - I've tested the rollers and the handles a little - they seem pretty sturdy I'm giving it a 4 star because I haven't had the occasion to use them yet. I'll change my rating after my trip. Seems to be a solid product and the pricing was not astronomical. ***Update**** I've owned them for a full year now so thought I'd update my review. They've been on several domestic and international flights and have held up very well. -The color hasn't faded and, although there are a few scratches, they still look smart. -No warping or cracking. -I've read other user reviews about the face plates coming off. Fortunately, I haven't had that problem. -The zippers are good, no jamming. -TSA locks, wheels and handles in good working order -I've dragged all three linked together through the airport without too much of a problem, it's nice that they come with the straps. I receive compliments on them all the time from other travelers. My mom has borrowed them several times and loves them. The best luggage set I've purchased - great price and quality. Going to be a great gift for my parents who travel often.

My travel mates made so much fun of me because I kept holding out for the perfect bag that checked all my requirements: Hard-side Not flimsy cheap plastic feel Expandable TSA Locks PURPLE! The one was it! I have not traveled with it yet and if any problems arise, I will come back and update. My observations: Suitcase materials are very study. I have checked out so many that feel flimsy and easily pushed in with very little effort - not this one. Texture is nice and looks like visible scratches won't be a problem. The TSA locks are fabulous. Feel very sturdy and were easy to set my new combination. Instructions that were attached to bag very easy to understand. The zippers run smoothly and appear to be good quality and the expansion room is just right. The only issue is the pull handle isn't the smoothest but it also has not been worked much. Nothing horrible that would make me not consider this bag. Wheels appear substantial and roll smoothly. The interior workmanship looks very nice and the lining is padded! Not super thick, feels more like a thin foam sheet backing the material but it makes the look and feel much nicer than the standard thin lining inside most cases. This case is much nicer than ones I considered for twice the price! And best of all, if you are a fan of purple (Go K-State Wildcats!) you will love this!

I've had this luggage set for going on 3 years, and in all honesty do not have a lot of bad to say about it. I make multiple trips for work per year (I'm talking 2-3 a month on average) and this luggage set has gotten my luggage from point A to point B every time. I will say, while the actual shell of the luggage has held up very well, the extremities have not. I've lost 3 of the 4 rubber feat on the medium luggage, and one of them on the larger luggage piece. Not really a deal breaker for me, as it still holds my luggage and I'm not losing any functionality. Only thing that does bug me is that the telescoping handle on the medium piece has, in the past few months, gotten troublesome with wanting to stay locked in it's telescoped state. I think the catches inside have maybe been worn down over the past couple years, but it will stay locked MOST of the time now. So for the missing feet and the wear on the handle, I took off 1 star, because even at almost 3 years I'd think they would have held out longer. A testament to the luggage's strength, on a recent trip I noticed a rather large 3-4 inch gash was in the top edge of my larger bag. No idea how that happened, but it had to have taken a nasty hit from something. However, none of my luggage inside was damaged and I had some sensitive electronics in there I was concerned about when I saw the gash. If this set ever completely falls apart on me, or a I lose a wheel, I honestly may just buy another set from Traveler's Choice. I've been happy with my purchase.

So I have now taken two trips with this luggage and brought all 3 bags. Let me say that I love this stuff! Pros: The smallest one fits in the overhead bin (except on the little commuter jets) It was even lighter that I expected it to be The built-in TSA approved locks are great. Easy to change the combination and lock/unlock The color! I got the navy -- even though it is still a dark color, it sticks out in a sea of black bags Durable, even after the big one got checked and tossed around by the baggage handlers, you can't see a mark on it Wheels roll smooth and seem durable Cons: When walking with the bag on all 4 wheels, it seems a ittle bit prone to tipping The old two-wheeled bags with the rollerblade wheels handle rough and uneven surfaces much better. No easy access. If you need to get something out of your bag, you basically have to unzip the whole thing and flop it over. All-in-all, these are great bags that seem like they will last for many years. Plus, now I can wheel my carry-on down an airplane aisle!

After using these suitcases for 5.5 years on land, sea and air, they are still in perfect condition. The raised ribbing on the outside helps to keep them from getting scratched and banged up. I have used these a lot, and I mean a lot. I am so happy with the purchase that I made when I got these, and I highly encourage anybody who might be looking at them to go ahead and buy them. I do not believe you will be disappointed. Very durable and well-made, and a very good product. They are spacious, very easy to walk with, maneuver and spin around. So far, I love these suitcases. This is my 2nd set of hard sided luggage, and they are superior to my first set (by a different manufacturer). Light weight, sturdy, and I love the ribbed outside of the suitcase. This will help with the scratching of the surface and any wear and tear. I have not flown with these yet, but will do so at the end of the month. The wheels are spinners, and have fluid movement. I was pleased to see that this set included suitcase straps, so I can strap them together, kind of nestled, when using all of them. Much easier to maneuver them in the airport. I got the navy blue, which is a very nice color. They are not cheaply made, and I can tell they will provide a lot of protection to my contents. I will never go back to soft-sided luggage. These might scratch up a bit on the outside, but they will stay in tact. My other hard-sided luggage, though still able to use, started to peel on the outside, and they marked up easily. I am happy to see that these, with the ribbed outside texture, will wear better, and I will probably not have the same experience with these, because of how the outside is made. I had soft-sided luggage in the past, and they ripped, the metal structural pieces started poking out of the fabric, and the wheels bent easily, plus they did not provide the same amount of protection for the contents as the hard-side luggage does. I would buy these again. It is nice to see that they also have the TSA approved luggage locks. My other set did not.

UPDATE: I bought this luggage 2 years ago. Since my initial trip to Canada, I've taken it on flights out to W. Texas, Hawaii, back to Canada, offshore twice, and recently to MN and CA in the same trip. It's been on a few journeys, but I am disappointed that it hasn't held up as well as I had expected. As I went to pick up the large suitcase by the top handle on my most recent trip, the plastic holding the handle snapped. I didn't have another suitcase of similar size, so I toughed it out. But it was really troublesome and awkward trying to tote it around. Additionally on one of my last trips, the Traveller's Choice logo piece was ripped off the front of the bag somewhere in transit. Mostly a superficial annoyance, but it should have clued me in to the fact that perhaps this luggage wasn't as well made as I had hoped. If you're a light traveller, this set will probably work well. If you travel a lot, I'd say go for a different brand that is known for being sturdy. I absolutely love this luggage. I purchased it for a field trip to the Canadian Rockies and wanted something durable and light weight. The wheels made this really easy to maneuver, even with full hands (I used the large piece and the carry-on, along with a backpack). I didn't have to worry about weight, even full this luggage didn't put me in the overweight category. We moved hotels 4 times and this luggage stood up to both flights and being in and out of the bus luggage area multiple times. I also really like the navy color. It's good for business travel also, looks sophisticated, stands out from the plain black luggage (always easy to identify it on the luggage carousel) and my boyfriend can use it without feeling embarrassed by the color. It also stores well, as all the pieces will nest inside each other. Really happy with this purchase. I feel like I got more than my money's worth.

I have only used the largest of the set once, but I was very pleased. First, it is beautiful. I bought the purple set and it is a very lovely dark purple with a ridged diamond pattern. I received some nice comments on it. It packed well --- after I realized you have to put your clothing in the lid and the items that need to be "contained" in the bottom so that the zippered divider can actually do it's job and "contain" everything. :) This luggage was easy to maneuver throughout an extra long walk through the airport because one of the tram stations was closed for repairs. I am only 5' tall and I had no trouble handling this large piece of luggage by myself. The handle telescoped and locked properly without a hitch and the wheels rode smoothly. It came through the trip without a scratch or dent anywhere. This seemed to be an exceptional accomplishment since the airline I flew with was an economy airline and not known for customer service or gentle care of passenger luggage. I would definitely recommend this set. *UPDATE* I have used this luggage for three years now and have no complaints. This luggage has been RV'ing, taken a trip to Mexico, and been on a few flights. It has held up well. There are a few dings here and there that show up as whitened areas where there was a bend -- the spot is lighter in color, but popped back out and did not stay bent.

I took a job out of state which requires lots of traveling. So far I have used this luggage for two separate round-trip flights, back to back. Including connection flights, I'd say the luggage has been handled at the airport a total of eight times. I'm pretty sure it's had a rough enough beating for me to give an accurate review. I've got one more flight into New York after this review so I'll be sure to provide an update later. Delivery - I was VERY nervous when my package arrived as the cardboard box it came in had a HUGE hole in it! It looked like someone literally kicked it off the truck, lol. So while opening the box up, I was careful because I thought for sure I would be returning it. I was pleasantly surprised to find the luggage inside with no damage (whew!). Looking back now, that was my first indication of this product's durability. Aesthetics - I ordered the 3 piece set in the purple - LOVE IT. It has a slight metallic finish which gives the color a nice punch. The skin of the luggage has a diamond-grid texture which gives it an overall nice quality look (I'll try to add a picture so you can see). Whatever color you get I'm sure the finishes add to the entire look (thumbs up for that). The main picture does it no justice. VERY easy to spot in Baggage Claim. I get lots of compliments at the airport :) Durability - As stated my luggage has already had a pretty rough beating, with more to come, and it looks great! I've listed my points below: 1. There are scratches? Where? Oh, I see them... I actually didn't find the scratches until a week ago. Due to the textured finish, scratches are difficult to find. It's also a darker shade of purple, so that helps to hide any wear and tear. Actually the most damage was done on the tiny "Traveler's Choice" logo where it's ALL scratched up (which I could care less about). 2. There are no dents anywhere. Although the hard shell for this luggage is a little flexible, it's VERY durable. My guess is that this luggage shell was designed with some "give" in order for it to take on impacts. Don't let the "bend" of the material fool you - very strong stuff. 3. Spinner wheels move easily and smoothly. Because I am traveling back and forth from California, to Kentucky, and to New York it is an absolute MUST for me to be able to move all around with ease. I currently have two pieces with me, medium and large, which I have dragged through airports and hotels. My legs are tired but my arms feel great, lol. The luggage set comes with with a "belt" attachment where you can connect luggage pieces together - VERY NICE! It works whether I have the cases slanted/angled, or pulling it upright where all four wheels are on the floor. No complaints - well done 4. Zippers still work and are intact. They run up and down the lines smoothly. I like that the zipper tags/grips are large (about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in length). I haven't really used the TSA lock included on the luggage yet, simply because I'm a klutz and will figure out a way to lock myself out (scared!). So instead I insert the zipper tags inside the mechanism without a lock code just so my bags wont open while being handled. I've had no problems. 5. Pull handles are durable, however I do get nervous when I stretch them all the way out. They seem like when they're fully extended, they get a little looser? Now, they are still intact and work fine! This is just an observation. Spacious!! - I like the inside compartment with the mesh inserts on the outside of it (difficult to explain so I'll try to post a picture). Great for putting shoes in, papers, or even jackets. It's a nice way to keep stuff out the way of your clothes. I was able to store one month's worth of clothes in the large piece, while my medium piece had papers, shoes, and coats (I have a carry-on too, but only for toiletries, hair brushes/combs, and various personal items. I prefer to keep that kind of stuff on me while traveling). Conclusion - I am VERY pleased with this purchase! This is my third time buying a set of luggage, and I have never been this happy all-around. Definitely would recommend this set for anyone. (I put the update in the "Comments" area below)

A good suitcase for the price but advert says easyjet cabin bag approved, it is too high. More than 56 cm. Easyjet is 56 inc handle and wheel. So I left it at home. Had no time to exchange/return as I travel the following day. Beautiful case though.

Nice one. I don't use it yet, but I think the set is great for travel. Roomy and stable, lightweight and easy for rolling.

2024 UPDATE: 7 years later, and it's still going strong! I travel maybe 1-3 times a year and everything is still holding up~ I love this suitcase! Ticks off all my ideal requirements: - International carry on size - TSA lock - Four wheels - Side handle - Expandable Honestly what more could you ask for? The build quality is super sturdy and I love the glossy black finish. If you had to get just one suitcase, get this one!
