Why is there a 5.5mm socket and no 9mm socket in this set?

The reason for this is that in metric hardware 5.5mm is very common and 9mm nuts do not exist, they go from 8mm straight to 10mm

Can I take it to the plane in my carry one luggage?

The TSA rule is 7” max… what size is the extension? ThT could be close and at their discretion? Even if you take that out it’s a great set.
