I read a lot of the reviews on this product and was a little apprehensive on what to expect. The product arrived quickly and was very well packed. The box is nicely presented and would make a great gift. Their is minimal bits that require putting together. The device itself is easy to use with only two controls. The bbq plate gets very hot and cooks chicken, beef and vegetables with ease. I does take a bit of getting used to as its such a different way of cooking to throwing a meal together in a kitchen. Once you get used to the challenge of cooking it makes for a really great night in. We spent 2.5 hours round the table and had a great laugh. I want to address a lot of reviews about smoke. I didn't use fatty meats and 100% did not get any smoke at all. Steam yes, smoke no. I cooked on my dining table and have a smoke alarm directly above, no issues. Secondly the wire did not seem to get hot for me and no issues with sockets. Advice - ensure meats are cooked really thin. Buy some Gyoza's and put water in the hotpot section. boil till piping hot then place on the BBQ for a bit. When you are done cooking your Gyoza's add your stock. Highly recommended

Great hotpot stove!

We got this to use as a cheese fondue, chocolate fondue, hot pot and grill. So far we have only used it as a hot pot and grill and although it's great and we love it, cleaning it is a pain! Especially when you have had a spicy broth in it. It's hard to pour it out and then it's hard to clean it. When you're just doing a grill, it's fine as you can wipe it, but you cant do that after the hot pot. It all gets a bit messy. I wish it had a feature where you could just unclip the top bit, clean it and then clip to back. Temperature controls are a bit temperamental, but it does heat up extremely fast! Make sure that you put both liquids in at the same temperature, we made a mistake of adding one hot and one room temp and then we couldn't quite adjust the temp for both, either one was boiling too much or the other one didn't boil at all. All in all it's a great gadget, we had it for just under a month and used it 3 times already. Great for entertaining,.... just solve the cleaning problem.

I brought this for my birthday celebration with my family. It’s worth buying. Better than going to restaurant. It’s also nice for weekend catching dinner with friends. It’s nice to used while it’s summer because you can used it in the garden. It’s also safe to used inside the house if you don’t mind a bit of smoke. The best thing I like is the peace of mind. My first pot stopped working in the second time I used but after I contact Amazon’s and email food party, my replacement pot already in my door in 2 days. The pot is brilliant easy to use and easy to clean.

This is the most amazing, 2-in-1 game-changing piece of dinner party equipment ever. Great design, so those who love broth based hot pot dishes will be blown away, while the barbecue area cooks whatever you love to perfection. The beautiful thing is that all the prep - ie slicing up the raw materials, Is easily done beforehand in minimum time, then everyone can sit down together and enjoy. We bought ours only a couple of weeks ago and we have used it three times already. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Just get one! Service was great..it arrived next day. It has paid for itself twice over.

Bought to replace a much bigger HOTPOT and this is just the job. We have Asian food a lot and love to use these to cook and everyone gets to cook their own meats and veggies together with making the soup to accompany them and this is ideal. Better than the style that has a curved dome to cook meats on. Well made and VFM.

Absolutely love cooking Korean BBQ on this grill. A firm favourite with family and friends, everyone enjoys cooking food in the centre of the table it is very sociable. Equally I use it in the summer when I’m on my own, set up on the garden table without the fuss or mess of a conventional outdoor bbq. Temperature is easy to control and dual controls mean the hotpot and grill are separate. It is easy to wash up after use, I run it under the hot tap with some washing up liquid and cloth, the surface is non stick and easy to clean. Highly recommend this product after over a year of regular use it still looks like new.

I read all the good reviews at the top and bought the product as a wedding anniversary gift for my husband. Unfortunately, everything was wrong with the product. - The first thing that we noticed was that the grill temperature control button was loose. Also, we could not control the temperature. Or you have everything in high temperature or off. - The cable is very short, so you need to use an extension. It blew up two extension cords, and all the house's plugs went down. - The grill stopped working while we were having dinner, so we had to use the stove. - The oil container melted inside on the first use. When we tried to remove it, the base broke. - Very hard to clean - Cheap material on the base Luckily we managed to return and have a refund from amazon. I'll buy one from the Chinese shop now!

Love it! Purchased on a whim after going out for hot pot and being disappointed, knew we could do it better at home! I’ve used it twice now hosting my friends, if you’re new to hot pot like us it can be quite overwhelming and expensive for the first go but once you have all the sauces and bases it’s very easy to throw together and so much fun with friends, we sat around for hours. Haven’t used to bbq grill yet (baby steps) but we turned it on and got hot v fast so next time we’ll be giving that a go! Ps. Cleaning can be intimidating but turn it off and wait for it to cool, scoop the grease into the bin, sponge and then wipe with kitchen roll

Very good product. Such a no fuss product to use, just open the box and you're ready to go. It was bigger than I expected and we had 9 people sitting around one machine and everyone was well fed and satisfied. Great family grilling experience, also great for breakfast, e.g. French toast or bacon on the grill, spaghetti or porridge in a fondue pot. 2 in 1 hot plate and pot top is not removable, but easy to clean as it is a seamless design.
