I’ve been using this Rhassoul Clay regularly in my hair and skin care routine, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite products. My hair is medium-textured, curly, and quite fine, so it tends to get weighed down easily by heavy or drying treatments. This clay cleanses gently but effectively, leaving my hair feeling fresh, light, and noticeably more voluminous without any heaviness. When I use it on my hair, I like to mix the clay with just enough water to create a thinner, more watery mask — this makes it much easier to apply evenly and helps prevent the clay from drying out my curls or causing any stiffness. After rinsing the clay out, I always follow with a good apple cider vinegar rinse, which balances the scalp and hair strands nicely and adds to that refreshed feeling. One unexpected benefit is that over time, I’ve been able to wash my hair less often. I now use this clay treatment about every 5 to 10 days, and because it detoxes the scalp and hair so thoroughly, I don’t feel the need to cleanse as frequently as I used to. My hair stays cleaner for longer, with less oil buildup, which has been a huge plus for maintaining moisture and curl definition. I also use this clay on my face occasionally, and I’ve found it does a great job improving skin clarity and reducing minor breakouts without causing irritation or dryness. The mask tightens pores and leaves my skin feeling smooth and detoxified. The clay itself is high-quality, mixing easily into a creamy texture for facial use, and rinses out cleanly without any residue. What I really appreciate about this product is how long it lasts — the 1 lb bag is a great value, giving me enough clay for dozens of facials and multiple hair treatments. For anyone with fine curls like mine, I’d highly recommend pre-oiling the scalp and lengths with a lightweight oil before applying the clay, especially when using it on hair. This step keeps the hair from drying out and maintains softness while still letting the clay do its deep cleansing job. Using the clay for skin is pretty straightforward, and any tight or dry feeling afterward can be easily fixed with your favorite moisturizer. However, figuring out how best to use it on hair can take some time and experimentation, depending on your hair type. For me, it was definitely worth the effort. Over the past two months of replacing most of my shampoo sessions with this clay treatment, I’ve noticed my hair feels stronger, healthier, and more resilient overall — and with fewer wash days needed, my routine feels a lot more manageable now.

After years of searching for something natural to clear my skin, this is it. This has consistently cleared my skin for the past 4-5 years. I don't need to use it everyday, but when I do, my skin looks very clear. If I wait and then feel a breakout coming on, I use this stuff for a couple days in a row, and my skin is balanced again. I just pour powder into my hand and put a bit of water in. There is a product called Lerosett which is what first turned me on to rhassoul clay. That stuff was also amazing, but then decided to try this to see if just buying powdered clay had the same effect, and it has worked well for me. I strongly encourage anyone who has struggled with acne to try this or Lerosett. In the past 10-15 years I had used Accutane, Benzoyl Peroxide, Proactive and countless other chemicals and terrible stuff for my body. Results didn't last and I found myself searching for a new skin fix. I decided to find something natural and came across Lerosett. It was a game changer. You need to be patient and consistent with your routine as the rhassoul clay pulls up impurities. It took me about 3 months before I was clear. Totally worth it. Oh and bonus--it's also awesome for your hair! Makes it silky!

This is such a beautiful clay. It makes the best face mask. I am 70 ish and the first time I used this I made a mask, and my skin was so soft and clear. I could literally feel the mask drawing the impurities out of my pores. My large pores are gone thanks to this clay. Then I made a face wash using this clay and I am so pleased with this product, the face wash is amazing. I would not recommend using it on your eyes. If you want beautiful radiant skin buy this. I have had so many compliments on my skin since using this clay once a week for the mask and daily for the face wash. I gave some to my best friend to do the mask and the face wash and she asked me to make enough for her to use the mask and the face wash. I also used this on my hair as a mask and my hair was super soft and shiny. This clay does not disappoint.

Bought this 3 years ago to help with seriously bad eczema out break on my baby. Used it and it helped. Didn’t even need to finish the product, so had it laying around. Grateful it had a sealable because it kept it safe where I stored it. Now with another baby and serious eczema outbreak decided to dig up and find what was left to use on skin. Mixed with warm water to totally dissolve. Then added some almond oil and then Frankincense and Myrrh. Used it to give my baby a bath. Changes were obvious after the first use. So I eagerly awaited using for a second time. It is not recommended to use back to back. So used a week a part. And safe to say it has been helping my baby again. So... here I am to purchase again. Realized the company actually upgraded their packaging which to me is also a good thing. Will continue to purchase once the product remains good quality and works for my family’s skin.

I purchased this back in November hoping to use this as a clay wash for my 4b/4c hair. It was a train wreck, made my hair dry and brittle. However, I had recently colored my hair and was struggling with management so it turns out it was my fault. After coming up with an awesome wash day regimen for my hair, which has become more moisturized and manageable, I decided to try it once again. My hair had lots of build up and was beginning to itch 4 days before my next was day so I decided to break this out instead of a clarifying shampoo. I'm so freaking happy I did. I mixed about a cup of clay (or more, I have very thick hair) with aloe vera juice until it was a little runny but not too thick I drenched my hair with water before applying to make the application smoother. I let sit for like 10 minutes Gurll, my freaking curls popped for the 99 and 2000!!! They clumped together and I was able to see my true curl pattern, even after I rinsed it out (which was a breeze, I didn't even have to section my hair). I'm totally impressed. After rinsing with warm water my hair was so soft, bouncy and defined. I followed up with a apple cider vinegar rinse and a deep conditioner (which next time I will finger comb through and not use a brush to preserve the curls) PLEASE NOTE: I can't wait until the next wash day! My son has some serious eczema on his head and has pretty long hair, he'd constantly itch to the point of bleeding. I started using this with a ACV rinse and eczema went almost gone next day. I have to do it at least once a week but the itching stops and my very long hair got even thicker ( all ready pretty thick but lost some due to tension alopecia from wearing high tight bun for years) anyways I used this clay as well and not only I got new growth and thickness back, but also my skin has transformed. I love this stuff. My whole family uses it for just a out everything.

I really do love this clay! First I got it to make a face mask, as the company I was buying clay masks from uses it. Then I saw all the benefits and decided to give it a try. Huge bag of clay! Mixes easily with water, and my face tingled as the mask was on. Skin felt good after that. Then I had MLD (manual lymphatic drainage) done and my armpits stank something terrible even through deodorant. I decided to put the clay mask on my pits for 10 minutes, and it took the stink away. Even the next day I didn't smell, so that's a win! I also put it in my toothpaste instead of bentonite, which I believe may have been recommended for color. Not many people are ok with a colored toothpaste other than white. Well, my teeth got unexpectedly whiter. I lot whiter that oblivious me was shocked! This clay is my all time favorite. I've tried adding a bit to my hair shampoo, and it seemed to be alright, but I'm not sure I'd keep that up.

I'm very skeptical that this is the real deal. I bought a different brand's before this and it worked well as a hair wash. This one is pretty clumpy to mix, isn't very red (looks a lot like my bentonite clay) and leaves my hair with LOTS of static. That didn't happen with the previous clay I'd bought. I'm sure it's fine as a clay mask, but for hair washing - if you have longer hair - be warned of static!!
