Product Worked Very Well
The rubber outer coating on the battery cable of my riding mower somehow completely melted off causing the interior wire of the cable to be exposed and break in half. After reconnecting the broken sections and wrapping the exposed wire with this product the mower was able to start again and function as usual. So far, so good. I am very pleased with this item as it was easy to use and did the job.

DOES WHAT IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO
Using this repair tape, I was able to repair a cable cover that a professional electrician had hacked up and then just left it - what nerve! Anyway, it worked!

Go slow and carefully !!
This product adheres well to the cable - Really Well ! It's wise to unroll only as much of the backing as is necessary to make a couple wraps around the cord before unwrapping more. Otherwise you risk sticking the tape to itself. It's a bear to get unstuck ! The cable I repaired is used with a corded electric lawn mower, and the repair is holding tight .

Does the job
I used these to repair some torn jacketing. Much better than having to run new romex. Wish it wasn't so expensive, but it did likely save time and money over the other options (running new romex).

Don't use this on electric forklift charging cables: it will melt.
