what kind of fish is this pound test used for?

I use it for shark fishing. Have caught up to a 9ft tiger shark with it so far. I have it spooled on a Alutecnos 50w

It can be with the proper needle. I did mine with an 80/100 needle but, it was very difficult and it took 3 tries to get it right.
