Stick with a medium to large ALICE pack with a regular frame, unless your wanting to have a frame for moving something hard & heavy for a short distance.

It should. It's sturdy and smaller than I had thought it would be.

If you are talking about the medium ALICE pack, yes. Both a medium and large ALICE fit the same frame.
