Pagan Lenormand Oracle

The deck arrived last night in the mail. I've only had a change to give it a cursory review. Yes, the cards are larger, which is not a bad thing, they allow you to enjoy the lovely artwork much more.Prior reviews have mentioned the diversity of humans represented in the deck, and while they thought the deck was a Celtic deck, it's not, it's a Pagan deck. The pagan community is lovely and embraces all.The only cards that sort of threw me, were the Clover card, which I had to remind myself what 2 was, to get Clover. There are two male and two female cards in the deck, to allow readings for same-sex couples, which I like in a Lenormand deck. The slight challenge is that one of the males, is not necessarily easy to see as 'Male'; the long hair and the shroud makes it challenging to see as male. I'm sure I'll get use to it.

New to these cards, having done tarot for 50 years, was intrigued and now just love this whole new way of reading. Unfortunately I havent read for many other people yet so reading for myself ...well hard to predict and also not to project what you already know but I think its a great method and this deck is one of the few that I love artistically. I also have Lenormand Oracle, a real beauty and now recently the Blue Bird which I love and also the Mystical one which I adore. also for size. Blue Bird is small too which makes it great for your Grand Tableau.

Artwork is realistic and attempts to show a pagan orientation. Cards well made, snap when bent and housed in a sturdy box. LWB is extremely detailed and oriented towards traditional definitions. Subject of each card is extremely clear, traditional and in the foreground. Background does not compete with the subject but also does not suggest a meaning to the subject. I would not describe these cards as beautiful, creative or imaginative; that might also be its strength in not detracting from the subject. Nice deck for pagans, Wicca or druids

Love these cards. I use them daily now. They are a great way to see what is in the energy of life for myself and others that I read for. Even my clients like it.

Unlike one of the previous reviewers, I appreciate the diversity of the cards' images. It is not required that you be an anglo-celt to be pagan.

These are beautiful cards. They are larger than the average lenormand and probably would not work to well with a grand tableau but if you had the space they have good, clear images to work with. Card stock is excellent quality probably one of the thickest cards I have owned.

I bought this deck only because I collect Lenormand decks and I didn't have this one. I will probably never use it! For one, the cards are too large and the cardstock is flimsy. Lenormand cards should be small! I don't really like the images either. In some cases they symbols are not clear, such as the Sun card for example. I glanced through the booklet and was left disappointed. I do not agree with a lot of the interpretations. If you are still set on getting this deck, do yourself a favour and get an additional Lenormand book, such as Rana George's Essential Lenormand, to go along with it. The booklet will throw you off in a big way.If you like larger Lenormand decks then Thelema's Lenormand is far superior to this one (also by Lo Scarabeo).

Beim ersten Blick dachte ich nur "WOW".Ich hab diese Karten für meine liebe Mama zu Weihnachten gekauft. Sie hat schon zwei verschiedene Lenormand Kartensets, welche beide sehr beliebt bei ihr sind.Mir haben die Karten vor allem gefallen, weil sie etwas mystisch sind und nicht "Null - Acht - Fünfzehn" wie manche anderen. Als sie ankamen, hat sich dies auch bestätigt; die Karten sind wirklich wunderschön gestaltet und einzigartig.Sehr gut hat mir auch gefallen, dass es zwei "Ich" Karten und zwei "ER/Sie" Karten im Set gibt.Leider sind die Karten aber für manche Hände (meine sind eher klein ^^) zu groß. Handlich ist leider etwas anderes und das wäre bei solchen Karten schon wichtig.Daher leider nur 4 Sterne.viel Spaß beim Kaufen oder weitershoppen ;)

Os cartões são lindos e de boa qualidade porém achei o preço bastante elevado em comparação com outros baralhos com as mesma qualidades e dimensoes, não dá para entender o porquê das diferenças de preços quando os produtos são idênticos.

Das sind die schönsten und aussagekräftigigsten Lenormand Karten die ich kenne!Es sei an dieser Stelle nochmal erwähnt dass das sehr individuell ist und letztendlich muss jeder selbst herausfinden welches Kartendeck ihn am meisten anspricht.Ich nutze diese Karten ganz bewusst fur Einzelaussagen und kleine Legungen wie z.B. das keltische Kreuz. In dieser Legung entfalten die Karten eine unglaubliche Wirkung.Oft wird kritisiert dass die Karten zu groß sind; aber gerade durch die Größe wirken die Bilder besonders intensiv.Für das große Blatt eignen sie sich auf Grund der Größe natürlich nicht so gut.Dafür nehme ich die Kartendecks blaue/ weiße Eule.
