Cable Matters Unbalanced 3.5mm to XLR Cable - 6ft, Male to Female, 1/8 Inch to XLR Cable

When I saw the reviews stating that the 3.5 mm plug did not fit their camera, I found no problem plugging my cable into the external mic input on my Panasonic G7. Cable Matters cables are heavy duty and are extremely reliable. Feb. 14, 2025 I recently bought a 3 foot version of this cable for a mic mounted on my camera. And as with all Cable Matters cables this worked as expected.

Received item on time, works well and worth five stars. Note: If a mic needs a power supply to operate, this cable feeds from the power supply (XLR) output to the 3.5mm device. I use this cable with my Nikon DSLR, a V67 MXL mic and a Pyle power supply for the mic. The V67 mic will not work without my Pyle or Focus Scarlett power source. Connecting this cable directly from the V67 mic to the camera won't work. (Seller needs to clarify the need for a power supply when a microphone requires one.) This is a quality cable when used properly, sound quality is very good.

I purchased these cables in order to play media from my computer through my church's house system. They plug into the headphone jack of the computer and into the microphone jacks on the mixer. The cables are inexpensive and it shows in the overall quality of the cables. The jack the plugs into the computer is often loose and has to be tightened before use. They also have to be inserted into the mixer " just so" or you cannot her all channels of the media that you are playing. You may loose lead vocals or can't hear the background vocals. But they are adequate for my use as I don't have to use them very often. If you require better preformance you may what to consider investing more in cables.
