Is it possible to whip this in a canister with an N2O charger?

Is it possible to use this for baking. I want to make KrumKake and it has to be whipped and incorporated with other ingredients and fried on an iron?

I used it for a cranberry salad that called for whipped cream and it worked quite well (I was nervous it wouldn't). Like most GF/DF products I whipped with a tad less water and a tad more oil to make sure it was thick. Not sure about cooking however.

How many of these would I need to replace 8oz container of Cool Whip?

I always buy 2 to be safe, One whips up to about 2-3 cup.

Can this be made without the oil? If not, what type of oil should be used?

Yes, it can be whipped without oil. In fact, if you accidentally get too much oil, it won't whip well. However, the oil makes the texture better. It coats your mouth more like traditional toppings and allows you to taste the flavor more. The texture is more like fluff without the oil. We have used vegetable, canola, and melted coconut oil with success and assume other oils would work too.
