There just are no better straps to hold your bike in place
when I started trailering my bikes, I tried several tie-down straps. All of them were nearly impossible to open when under pressure. More than once, I had to cut one or more off the bike. I found out about these tie-downs when cruising around a site for folks with custom choppers, so even though they are expensive for tie-downs, I tried them. Wow, they are amazing. Huge ratchets made of really high quality. And breaking the tension on the strap when opening it is no muss-no fuss. they work perfectly. And the soft straps are great to prevent friction scratches. Highly recommended!

Top Notch Straps
After using "J" hook type straps which kept coming unhooked when I trailered my motorcycle, I was looking for something with closed ends. Guys on the forums recommended the PowerTye straps so I thought I'd give them a try. They come nicely packed in their own carrying case, are easy to use and have padded straps to protect your motorcycle's finish. I recently trailered my bike 1600 miles to Colorado over some atrocious roads and the straps kept the bike rock-steady both ways. I highly recommend these straps for securing your motorcycle when you can't ride it. Great quality, reasonably priced with the added peace of mind knowing they will do the job with no problems whatsoever.

Best Tie Downs Period
If you're going to spend $20K+ on a cycle, why cheap out on the tie downs. I own a Texas Chopper and I wouldn't use anything less than the Powertye 2" Big Daddy's. Not only are the tough and durable, but they're also really easy to use and gentle on the cycle. After using these you won't use anything else.

Common problem among ratchet straps
I’ve found this to be an incredibly common issue among ratchet strap designers. That’s if you run the ratchet on the bottom portion of my trailer it won’t fit between the boards on a high side trailer. Like I just want a strap with 2’ to the ratchet portion. 🤷♂️ Personal problems. I flip the straps around and just tie up the portion that’s supposed to go around the forks and use different mounts on the end

Great equipment.
Product is great. From the soft ties built in to the locking hooks. Did a fantastic job holding the bike in place. Won't use anything else.

Ratchets get stuck, don’t spend the cash on these.
These things are horrible. They wrap around themselves the become stuck. I had to cut one off to get my bike off. Do not buy these, the ratchets suck.
