Drop in replacements and work well. This is my second set, one in Chrome one in Black and both work well. I ordered a third set in Gold for another guitar. Holds tune and no slipping or sticking while tuning. Good bang for the buck. The black finish looks good, same with the chrome. The finish seems durable and only time will tell if the tuners hold up.

I bought two sets of these Guyker rust color locking tuners. Both for two KGD brand guitars I also bought here on Amazon. A KGD Strat-style and a TeleMaster style. These Guyker tuners dropped right in. Perfect fit on both guitars which both have the same neck. The rust color is what Guyker calls their aged or relic looking parts. They look absolutely gorgeous mounted on the guitars. Such an authentic, grungy look. Perfection. And a consistent finish from Guyker product to product. I bought various bridges and other rust colored hardware offerings from Guyker. I found consistency, reliability and fairly high quality. These stay in tune fantastically. This is surprising for the price, but it's true. One note - on the two models of KGD guitar I mounted these on, I'd say in a perfect world there would be a little more space between each knob. See photos. But this is a small gripe. A couple tuners out of 12 are a little stiffer than their neighbors but hardly a complaint. Merely a note. Also, the tuning machine I mounted in one of my two A string holes is slightly tilted. Again hardly a gripe - especially for the price and stunning looks. Again, just a note. If I want to relic another guitar, Guyker rust colored locking tuners and hardware are a given.

These Guyker locking tuners are a fantastic upgrade for any guitarist. The 1:18 gear ratio provides precise tuning adjustments, and the locking mechanism keeps strings securely in place, reducing tuning issues. Decent not perfect locking tuners. Installed these as an upgrade to the really poor-quality tuners on a very inexpensive IYV guitar. For this purpose, they are great. The cost is reasonable and they perform well. But - one of the six tuners has some wiggle of the main post when installed. It works fine but does not inspire confidence for longevity. It seems like maybe there is some quality control variability. The tuners look great and the locking mechanism works fine. As previously noted, they hold tune fine. I have bought a second set for a guitar that has non-locking tuners, so I obviously think these are good enough for my use. If I were upgrading a high-end guitar, I would probably choose Gotoh or Hipshot, but they are double or more the cost of these. Hope this helps.

Was initially a little apprehensive about buying these due to some mixed reviews regarding quality but I am really impressed with the value received for the price here. Got the rusty/relic finish to match my bridge and the color matches perfectly. One thing to be aware of, not all inline tuners are just pop in replacements. This was true of my situation with my Samick Strat. The angle of the “ears” where the screws fasten was slightly different on these than the old ones from my guitar. No big deal. Filled the old holes with toothpicks and a dab of wood glue and carefully put these on, tightened the nut to hold them in place and drilled a small shallow pilot hole. All of my tuners work exactly as intended and look great. The locking mechanism feels very smooth and functions perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Installed these onto a left handed PRS SE Custom 24 and they work perfectly. They were a perfect fit requiring no modification to be installed, and they look and sound great. I do full dives on my whammy bar and marvel at how well it stays in tune; I do use Dunlop lubricant on the nut to help keep things moving as well, but the tuners are indeed very stable.

Fit my application perfectly. These tuners are SMOOTH, and the locking feature makes tuning stability wonderful. Easy to install if you already have the vintage style bushings. You might have to ream the peg holes a little bit. I just used my old ones, since they fit fine as well.

The tuners work well and I like the look. I installed these black ones on my guitar that had stock chrome tuners. I was changing some stuff over to black and these tuners helped complete the look. I love locking tuners and these have good action, fit well, and feel good. My reason for not giving 5 stars is that one of the tuners I received did not have the hole drilled for inserting the string. This is a quality control issue. I didn't want to deal with ordering another set and sending this set back. I'm handy and had an appropriately sized drill bit, so I made the necessary hole in the tuner to make it useable. Had I not run into the QC issue, this would have been a 5 star review.

Cool

Screws stripped out very quickly trying to screw them into freshly drilled hole. Massive dead spot in one tuner that almost takes half a turn for any tuning to register. High E tuner doesn't hold tune, as shown in video. Spend a little more. Get Hipshot, Gotoh or something like that.

Starting with the 3rd string and going up to first string, these "locking" tuners wouldn't even grab the string when srewed all the way in. The string would just slide right back out. I guess you get what you pay for. They were completely unusable and now are in the recycling bin. I bought some Gotto tuners and they work like a charm.

Good tuners

Habe mir die Stimmechanik an eine Squier Strat geschraubt und bin eigentlich zufrieden wenn nicht einer von ihnen wackeln würde. Sie halten die gestimmt Saiten wirklich lang und sie lassen sich gut stimmen. Wenn der eine Wackelkopf nicht währe, würde ich fünf Sterne geben. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und das Material und die Farbe passen auch.
