My Maiden Voyage
A bottle the 2007 E/C Estate wine was sent to me a few years ago by my good friend and on-line wine merchant. There was no charge, only a request for me to share it with my wine buddies. We all assembled in a centralized office for a taste, after it had about 2 hours of air exposure. I took the first sip, to which I exclaimed "Whoah!" in delight. It was heavenly, with notes to my nose of blueberry and spices. The fruit taste was BIG, teaming with flavors of dark cherry, laced with blueberry and even a touch of raspberry. We all purchased cases of the wine on the spot. This remains my all-time favorite of their vintages. Tis a worthy product, indeed.
