I was using the Derma-3 twist caps previously and thought the pump bottle would be less messy and easier to use. However, the oil must be different. I put it on my dog's food per instruction. Each time (did it twice) he threw up his entire meal afterwards. I contacted the company but they refused to refund (opened items not eligible for refund). I would have expected a pet company to at least get the UPC and want the product back so they could test it to make sure nothing was wrong so other pets would not get sick. I have since switched back to the Derma-3 Twist caps.

I much prefer this product in the pump bottle as compared the gel capsules. My vet advised that the gelatin part of the capsule is not easily digestible for dogs and instructed me to puncture the capsule and squeeze the contents onto the dog's food each day. This procedure is a genuine PITA! However, this product relies on the included pump top to meter the correct dosage. It worked fine for the first 2-3 months but has begun to fail or at least loose its prime after every use. The correct dosage for my dog is a single pump but I know I am either over or under dosing now since the first pump gets only a very small amount of product to be expel along with a larger amount of air. I try to "short stroke" the second pump to arrive at close to the correct amount but am unsure how successful this procedure really is. The product would be much improved by a higher quality pump or the elimination of the pump device altogether in favor of a metered dropper or perhaps a bottle that incorporates a squeeze dose measuring cup system similar to some children's medicines.I plan to stay away from the gel caps but will look for other alternatives when this supply is exhausted.

This is great stuff! Moved to TX recently, so our dog is exposed to new pollens, dusts, etc., plus she's discovered the joys of being in and out of a pool. Itches arrived, intermittently, different parts of her body. Moisturizing lotion helped marginally. This product absolutely shut down the itches. A few sprays, worked in with the fingers, and she was a happy dog.

It has a great value for the price. Althouh my cats don’t like the flavor. My dogs love it.

We have been giving this derma-3 liquid to our poodle since she was two. She is now 17 and still very active and comfortable with her walking. When we go for walks she leads the way!

Love this product. My chiweenie constantly licked and chewed on his paws until I started giving him this in his food. My black retriever had flaky skin that has since gone away. Bought it in March and will be buying again in May. My dogs and I love it!

Soooooo much better than the capsules the vet gave me. I can squirt just a few drops on dogfood for my little 5 pound shaggy dog. He seems to itch less finally, after about 3 months! Not positive he likes the strong flavor but he is a picky eater.

My dogs barely scratch at all since using this oil in their food.
