Does what it claims!
The photo makes it seems as if the openings on each end are equal size, but one is slightly smaller than the other. The measurements are given for accuracy and to save you aggravation and waste, so be sure to use them and measure your devices before ordering. I ordered it at the same time as my diffuser... I bought this because I wanted to use the black orchid diffuser with my ancient Conair Ion Shine 1875, and I was worried it wouldn't fit. Turns out the opening to my dryer is so large the black orchid diffuser fits INTO the hair dryer opening -- all I have to do is press very firmly and it fits into place without popping out. I will use the snozzlepro for other dryer attachments now... I thought about returning the snozzlepro, but then thought I should try popping it onto the end of my Revlon One Step, which I occasionally try to use on the cool setting. If you have a Revlon One Step, you know there are at least four major problems with it. One of them is that some of your hair gets caught in the rim underneath the upper cap/handhold as you turn it, and you either rip the hairs out of your head without realizing, or you have to stop and try to pry the hairs out. I thought the wide end of the snozzlepro might stretch to fit over that rim, to protect my hair from getting caught in it. (Turns out it's a little too small for that and keeps popping off, but the snozzlepro manufacturer was very sweet and tried to help me make it work, even though it is not intended for that purpose.) [In case you're curious about the other problems with the Revlon One Step -- the heat is too high, the bristles grab your hair to the point of causing breakage, and the sound is so loud you should use earplugs. I'm going to stop using it.]

Works well for my hair dryer
I got this to help me attach my Black Orchid Diffuser to my Babyliss Portofino Dryer. It works great, but it will eventually fall off if I have to dry for a long time - it gets loose with the heat. It doesnโt fall off every time, but I make sure it is secure before drying. It takes forever to dry my hair, so I need to check it occasionally to make sure it is still secure. The diffuser does not stay put at all without this attachment, so definitely need it! UPDATE: I received a message from Val, the inventor of SnozzlePro - she gave me a tip that helped a lot. I had the nozzle upside down. When I turned it around the way she said to put it, it fit better and did not come off! Changed to 5 stars! Thanks Val!

Snozzle with Xtava Black Orchid and Conair Infinity Pro
Similar to some of the other reviewers experiences, I find that the SnozzlePro works pretty well for me, but I do have to be very careful and make frequent adjustments -- it sort of exploits design problems with the tools you are using. I used it with a Conair Infinity ProPro and an Xtava Black Orchid. Pros: -It definitely fits my Conair Infinity Pro and probably won't have any trouble fitting other hair dryers. -It's thick enough to be sturdy, but thin enough that I can stretch it onto the hair dryer. - I don't experience any leaking or weird smells. -I can use it (carefully) with the Xtava. Cons: -It is made of rubber, so when it heats up the rubber becomes more pliable and loose around the diffuser. I would recommend using this with cold air if possible. Unfortunately, my Conair Infinity Pro has a setting for "Cool" that isn't cold enough. So, I find that this works best if I keep my finger on the blue "Cold Shot" button the whole time. -The Xtava has a very short connection point, so even though the SnozzlePro works pretty well, there's not a ton of space for it to hold on. That's a problem with the Xtava though, not the SnozzlePro. In particular, it seems to detach most at the top of the connection point and it will fall off while I'm using it. I just sort of use it gently and keep an eye on that top part to make sure it isn't slipping out. Overall, I think the SnozzlePro is a great product that would probably work best with a diffuser with a longer connection point than the Xtava and potentially a hair dryer that has a truly cold setting.

Works great, a little hard to attach
This wonderful product allowed me to continue using my favorite T3 Featherweight blowdryer with my new Xtava Black Orchid diffuser!! I didn't have to buy a new blowdryer! I will admit that I measured the wrong thing when I ordered the SnozzlePro adapter (I measured the base of the concentrator nozzle that came with the blowdryer and not the actual blowdryer nozzle - oops!) My blowdryer is actually a little wider than the measurements given for the SnozzlePro. It was so close, I was determined to make it work! I was able to do it with a little manipulation and a slender tool to give just a little extra stretch to get the SnozzlePro over the end of the blowdryer nozzle (used a tool WITHOUT any sharp edges or points, nothing that could damage the SnozzlePro or the blowdryer). **I did this at my own risk - knowing that I could possibly damage the SnozzlePro or my blowdryer!!** Very gently, I was able to get the SnozzlePro onto my blowdryer. I made sure it was evenly attached all the way around before adding the Xtava Black Orchid diffuser. I attached the diffuser to the SnozzlePro AFTER I put the SnozzlePro on the blowdryer - the opposite of what the instructions advise you to do. (also note that before attaching the SnozzlePro to the blowdryer, I put the diffuser on the SnozzlePro a couple of times to make sure it fit properly and that I would be able to attach it without needing to use the other end of the adapter to make sure it was secure). After getting everything in place, I'm happy to say that it's very secure and there's nothing that is loose or has any wiggle room whatsoever!! I'm never removing it!! It's there until the dryer kicks the bucket or something breaks! It's working beautifully! It holds very tightly and securely, it hasn't slipped or moved at all since I attached everything!! You can see in the pics how tightly it's holding. I love drying my hair with this diffuser! My hair looks amazing and dries faster than when I used to use a round brush! No more work drying with a round brush! Just using this diffuser and moving it to different sections of my hair, it's easier than ever to dry my hair! Thank you for making this product that allows us to use this wonderful diffuser on other brands of blowdryers! I will be recommending it to everyone who has curly hair! Update - the adapter and diffuser has come off a couple of times and it takes a little bit of work to get it back on because my blow dryer is a tiny bit bigger than the measurements but I can get it back on. I think it came off because I accidentally held it by the adapter or grabbed it by the diffuser. Definitely only hold it by the barrel of the blow dryer (like in my 3rd pic) or the handle for the blow dryer!

Could be better
I bought the black lotus diffuser thinking it would fit my dryer. It did not. So I bought this since it mentions the black lotus diffuser. Fits nicely on my dryer, but keeps slipping off the diffuser like others are saying. Frustrating and disappointing. I'll have to get with my son and see if he can design me something to keep it in place with his 3d printer. Over all if it actually kept in place it would be great, but right now it's a pain.

Keeps Falling Off
I wanted to love this so much! The owner of the brand sent a handwritten thank you note with my order, which was so lovely. Itโs a wonderful idea in theory, but not so much in execution. I bought this to attach my Black Orchid diffuser to my John Frieda dryer. It fits on the Black Orchid, Iโll give it that much, but unfortunately, it doesnโt fit on any of the other diffuser attachments in my arsenal. I would overlook that if it worked with just the Black Orchid, but it fell off my dryer every couple of minutes when I tried to use it, and I had to use my hand like duct tape to keep it in place, which truly defeats the point. The second time I tried to use it, I had the same experience of it repeatedly falling off my dryer, so I tried attaching it to my teensy little travel dryer, and it fit! I guess Iโll use this if I ever want to use the Black Orchid with my mini travel dryer, but Iโll probably just bite the bullet and buy the Xtavia dryer, since this thing was such a waste of time and money. Sad Panda.

Best purchase I could have made!
This adapter was recommended by my stylist after I asked her what she would use to keep my hair dryer nozzle that keeps popping off. How easy it was to put on and works like magic! I really have almost stopped using my hair dryer because of the frustration I experienced. Five Stars from me!!

This does what it promises.
I got this Snozzle Pro to go with the diffuser, black orchid. The problem is the neck on the black orchid is so short that if you donโt have long arms to keep your blow dryer far away from your head the black orchid is just going keep falling off whenever you bump your head. Thatโs not the problem for this extension but I just wanted to let you know that if you think itโs a solution to the black orchid, itโs not. Also itโs not easily transferable. I thought maybe I could keep it on the black orchid and just take the black orchid with this extension on my trips. I travel frequently. None of that is going to be possible. The actual blow dryer that comes with a black orchid is only $30. The Snozzle pro is a good attempt at fixing the problem if you donโt want to get the corresponding blow dryer, and if you donโt have a full-size blow dryer that might work better than my situation.

High expectations, bit let down
I did tonnes of research before buying one of these and had such high hopes, but have been pretty disappointed to be honest. I have a black orchid diffuser and both a Dyson air wrap and Lable M professional hair dryer, which I wanted to use this tool to attach the diffuser to. It does hold the bits attached, to an extent. I usually have to reattach all the bits about 3-4 times each time I dry my hair, which takes me 15-20mins, which I find frustrating. It also gets very hot, which makes reassembling a pain. But it gives me flexibility over resorting to gaffer tapeโฆ

Thank Gawd, No More Tape
I have a parlux dryer and the nozzle kept falling off and I was using tape to keep it on, which is terrible. This is great, it still allows me to take off the concentrator easily so I can switch to my diffuser with ease. I have no problem with it sliding off, it's quite sturdy, handles blowouts, not bulky at all, great for stylists!!

A bit hard to put on
A bit hard to put on but it does work as advertised. Used it on the multiple dryers with success.

Not worth the price
Doesn't hold the diffuser securely, continuously falls off. Cheaper to buy a new blowdryer!
