Gorgeous, easy-to-use paint that's a dream on very shabby wood outdoor furniture. Here's our wabi-sabi garden bench that's endured 30 years in the California sun. Removing all the old paint was virtually impossible. So, I removed what I could, patched where I could, and then painted the heck out of it with this lovely paint. The rough bits are messy, but we love the overll effectt. This paint gave our old bench new life and interest.

We were a little anxious at first about of how the Krylon Colormaxx Brush-On Acrylic paint would cover our vinyl shutters due to a bad experience we had a few years back when we had the original shutters painted using Sherman William's paint that resulted in the paint peeling off a few months after it was applied, and we then had to buy replacement shutters. The person who painted these vinyl shutters for us shared that he lightly roughed the shutters up a bit using a Scotch Bright scouring pad prior to painting them to remove the dirt buildup on them and to add a little texture to the wood grain look for the paint to stick to. From one quart of paint Doug was able to put two coats of Krylon paint on each of the 6 pairs of shutters and the attaching screws. There was even some paint left over for future touch up needs, if needed. We are very satisfied with the way our blue shutters now look [better than when they were new]; and we especially like the Regal Blue color and the light shine the Gloss finish has given the shutters. Our home looks very attractive now. It has been over a month since they were painted with lots of rain and humidity, and they still look great. Several of our neighbors have stopped to admire the shutters and ask what paint we used. Thank you so much Krylon for a great product. We are hoping this paint will last for several years as our home gets a lot of afternoon sun.

Works

Great quality of paint. You just need to do a better job, sealing the can when it arrived. It had leaked inside the box and got all over the place on the other items that were in the box. Luckily, they were wrapped and protected. Ordered another one came as it should unopened.

It takes 30 days or more for this to fully dry. So its very sticky. However the color was awesome

This paint was almost dry in the can. It was lumpy and thick and made a MESS of my paint job. I had to sand the panels clean and repaint with better quality paint. Alot of wasted time, energy and money.

merci c'est bien ce que j'ai commandé, je ne l'ai pas essayé encore mais cela a l'air correct, brun foncé comme je le voulais. Hâte de l'essayer.

It all came broken and leaked. Not a drop of paint left to be used.
