Perfect Point Throwing Knives – Set of 3 – Stainless Steel Blades and Handles w/Spider Design, Nylon Sheath, Full Tang Construction, Throwing Sport Knives – RC-1793 Series (Black)

These were my first set of throwing knives, ever. I got 3 black, 3 bare metal, shipped quick. Made a cardboard target to start. Threw my first 3 knives. 2 of them stuck. Cool. Must have been the hours of videos I watched and practicing my form before I even got the knives. Threw about 50 more and then my cardboard target (about 6 layers of cardboard taped together with a circle marked with sharpie for the center/only target). So, I have pieces of wood laying around, so I use a hard outdoor pressure treated wood slab, about 5 feet long (height for my target) and 2 feet wide (enough side to side length so that I don't miss and hit a cat or something). Over the next 3 days, I had thrown those knives a good 1,000+ times. Then I let my friends try. Even with way more misses and "tings" and "tangs" of the metal hitting wood and echoing across my street, the knives still held up. Now we're at a few weeks later, I probably practice throwing about an hour or so a day give or take, have learned the no-spin throw from many distances, and the half-spin (holding blade side) throw from my comfortable distance. Learned 2 underhand throws, all with these knives. I've now started throwing larger 12"+ knives, and getting the feel of throwing a smaller knife like this gave me a lot more confidence with throwing larger knives, machetes, swords. Yes, if you miss a lot, or don't have a soft surface for your knives to fall on (for me, dirt or grass), you will start to notice chips in the blade. However, this doesn't take away from the throwing ability. Those who say they can't get these to stick are most likely just not doing it correctly (form, speed, distance, how it slides off your finger(s), height of the target, type of target, etc.). Whenever I miss a few throws in a row or they don't stick, I either move closer to the target, have a more fluid motion and almost slow it up a little to figure out what's going on with my throw, OR I'll toss some throws straight down into a piece of wood on the floor or even straight into dirt. It helps show me if my knife is over-rotating, under-rotating, going sideways, wobbling out of my hand instead of sliding out smooth, etc. It's definitely a fun hobby. I've made a few targets now and for me it's just a dart game with a new kind of throwing tool. I've seen people throw pocket knives, hunting knives, machetes, swords, nails, screwdrivers, scissors, and get them all to stick. I'm not at that level yet, but these blades gave me a good starting point to work on the basics of knife throwing. So yes, I give it 5 stars. Best first (and second) set of blades I bought. Thanks.

I've had these throwing knives for a little over a month now and have used them a lot. I mean, a lot. I had a set of JXEJXO throwing spikes before this, and honestly, these are much more fun (in my opinion) to throw. Not only that, but I found myself struggling to find consistency in the beginning, but once I started using these, I found that they were a lot easier to figure out where I was going wrong, and that's made it easier overall with whatever I'm throwing now, even my fasthawk. Durability wise, they aren't the best knives you'll ever own, but for the price, they are honestly really nice. They came very sharp, and sharpening them back up after use has been very easy. As you can see in the pictures, I've beat the Hell out of these, but they still function very well, and again, for the price, I couldn't be happier. I plan on buying another set or two once I'm able, as I'm sure at some point I'll either lose one, or break one somehow, but they've held up so far way better than throwing knives/axes that I've paid 5-10 times as much for. If you're just starting out and want to learn how to throw knives, I'd definitely recommend getting a set or two of these ones, you won't regret it.

This is set is pretty good for its price, though it came slightly dull, it's nothing a bit of sharpening can't fix! It has decent weight on the metal and in my opinion the design is cute! The sizing I would say it's average, but maybe a bit small for the larger folks. The blade holder is thick and good material! Though the blades fit in a bit odd but workable. Overall I would say the quality is good for the price! Will definitely add to my collection😁

I purchased 5 sets of these knives, and gave one to each member of our family for a Christmas present; I am always on the lookout for stuff we can do as a family that is new and different. So, I am not an expert. However, I do try and read reviews and I had read up on these knives, and they appeared to be a good buy. My hubby built a nice target board out of reclaimed cedar boards from an old deck we had. The knives came out of their boxes much sharper than I expected. They have decent heft, and, once you figure out how to throw them (it takes a while and EVERYONE has their own opinion on how to do it), they make a very satisfying THUNK when they penetrate, and they have enough weight to travel quite a distance, and I have no doubt that they could do serious damage if ever thrown at a person. I am looking forward to getting better at it. Kids are already saying we need a "dart board" pattern on the board so we can have more & different types of competition. (the first few times you are just trying to figure out how to get them to "stick") Anyway, we have been out a few times and the knives are holding up very well. Being from Wisconsin, we started out in a garage due to the cold, but I worried about the knives being damaged from bouncing off the concrete floor all the time. They weren't, but we moved outside, and that is definitely better. When they bounce off the board and land on the ground they don't bounce, they just stick in the ground, so I think its safer, too. I sponged a blotches of different colored acrylic paint on the handles where the grip grooves are, to tell them apart. All in all, I am very pleased with them and would buy again (in fact, already did as another gift for a friend). So if you are looking for a "price is right" beginner set, I don't think you can go wrong buying these knives.

I own a few sets of name brand throwing knives around the $20 and $50 range and just wanted to know if it was possible to find anything usable at sub-$10 range so gave these a try. Why not? Well, although they meet the minimum length to be effective, they're too light. They still make for good kitchen knives though so there's that. Edit: Added another star because although these knives are ultra light, they're nicely sharp and can be used in the kitchen. In fact, you might be able to wrap some nylon on the handle to make them slightly heavier, but my skill level isn't there so I'm just speculating. Edit: Had to come back to give these things a 5th star. At first, I was skeptical because of their weight, however, their sharpness makes up for it. Throwing them with minimal effort would bury them at least an inch into the target - about 3X deeper than my 8" Smith and Wessons.

I am a newbie. So these knife is only for fun. They are very small and light. If you are a beginner, better get 10-12 inches and more than half lb throwers. Those are easy to start with. If you don't already have some basic skills, throwing these can be a little frustrating. Quality not bad, just not for beginners

Balanced perfect for 10 foot away

Honestly I got the knives for the shape. Wasnt too keen on double edged blades and this was the only option I had found here on amazon. I am a beginner myself so I have no idea how to compare to other knives I don’t have. But for the cost of these knives these things are great, low cost well balanced and are comfortable to hold. Durability wise the metal could be harder as these blades seem soft as far as knives go and bend with great use. I strongly suggest getting a knife sharpener as these blades are not sharp at all out of the box, I could literally slash at my hand and it wouldnt cut but since these blades are softer they sharpen to a razor easy.

Out of all the cheap throwing knife gimmicks on amazon... These are actually not gimmicks and are good throwing knives to start on the cheap. They have a decent weight-to-length ratio - forgot the exact number, but they're neither too light nor too heavy for their size. Balanced on the middle (give or take a bit). The weight on each one, from memory, is +/-5grams from what's advertised. They're good for any throwing technique - personally using them for no-spin throwing, but they work just as well for full-spin and really any other. Gave 3/5 stars for durability, but really can't be too harsh about it. One of the tips broke on one of the knives. But that's after hundreds of throws into maple wood and potentially other knives. Plus for the price, can't really complain. Just know that they will break, and that's fine.

These were the least expensive throwing knife I could find of this shape. I was surprised to find they were fairly well balanced and consistent.

Une fois la bonne technique, les couteaux se fixent bien dans la cible. Les couteaux sont solides et après plus d' une trentaine de lancer la pointe ne s'émousse pas encore. Seul point négatif est que l'étui ne permet pas de l'accrocher à la ceinture ou un sac molly. Bonne prise en main.

Fun and enjoyable blades to throw and decently balanced, not the strongest of durability and despite I've only had em for a few months, there's already plenty or chips and burrs despite I only throw at seasoned lumber targets. That's my only gripe, aside from that, they're well worth the buy :)
