Cavendish & Harvey | Fruity Orange Hard Candy Drops | 5.3 Ounce Tin

I ran across these candies in Germany and fell in love! They taste like slices of tangerine oranges not just cheap orange flavored candy. They were a lot cheaper to buy in Germany but still worth it to buy here in the USA. Have not tried other flavors. The individual pieces are packed in a powdered sugar medium so they’re not all stuck together. And I love to reuse the cans in my shop for small parts. I’ve already bought 5 cans since I got back from my trip. Wish they were cheaper but I’m hooked!

These are basically the only candies I keep around anymore. If you’re looking for something that actually tastes like fruit and not artificial chemicals, these are it. And no, I don't have a candy problem—you have a candy problem.

Pregnant girls dream. I had a craving for those orange candies in a clear wrapper that NO ONE could seem to remember or tell me where to get them. They just spawned in the pockets of the elderly. After a very extensive internet search I settled on these beauties. They tasted so delicious, much better than grandmas purse candy. They’re a perfect sweetness and size. As a bonus they come in a nice tin that I know I won’t use but cannot bring myself to throw away because, you know I might use it.

Cavadish candy is very tasty. I however have a complaint. The container is very hard to open.

The disk of orange candy moistens my mouth when it’s inconvenient to drink. It’s smooth, delicious and lasts a few miniutes. A tin of these is a much-appreciated, inexpensive gift to give someone.

Some foods -even candy - are an acquired taste. And others, such as these, are pretty much universally loved. I have a multi-generational family who live in 4 different places, but all of them who are old enough to eat these little gems (choking hazard) love them. My favorite are these little gems orange flavor. I also like the citrus mix and I think they come in lemon, too. I’d love to see them in only lime. Others prefer the tropical fruits or the berry lines. But, over all, this company makes some of the best hard fruit going. The candies as protected within the canister by confectioner’s sugar. I’m pretty sure that a bit of the flavor gets mixed into this sugar - I know you can find little particles of candy in it. I just realized that I should try to save the sugar and use it for cake or cookie frosting! I think I’m going to try that, although the two of us here don’t buy it often enough to make it worthwhile. Guess I’ll wait for times they visit, so that we get extra yummies from them!
