Replaced an older spider that had a plastic handle (which fell apart) with this all metal spider. Much nicer, good size and weight. The all metal design means it can go in the dishwasher without a rubber or plastic handle getting damaged. The all wire design of the basket is also much easier to clean -even by hand than the old one which had a fine mesh basket. This is definitely an upgrade in all aspects.

This is cool and I don't cook. You never know when you need a strainer until you need a strainer (spider). Solid, sturdy and high quality. Larger than I expected which is a real bonus. Tons of uses for this item. Highly recommended instead of the screen kind that can tear up easier. I've used it to rescue a hummingbird without injuring the little thing.

Great spoon. use is frequently for a ton of things ranging from regular pasta to poaching fragile dumplings to making cheese. No rust after a year of only throwing it in the dish washer. Great value, doesn't feel heavy, grip is fine (smooth metal), and size is nice and big just mind the spacing depending on what you need. Can't be used for smaller cheese curdles e.g. obv.

Very useful for frying, no old stays back!
