TUSK Thumb Throttle Warmer

I put this on my atv that use for plowing snow. While I had the Tusk grip warmers on there already, my thumb was constantly getting cold. It was a plug and play setup and very easy. Highly recommended

Installed the thumb warmer with my Tusk clamp on heated grips and I can safely say even at full power I cannot tell if they are putting out any heat, the handle bar grips are smoking hot but the thumb warmer is really questionable. It's an idiot free install meaning you plug the wire harness into the main heated handlebar harness and plug that into a hot and a ground and away you go, as stated earlier, the handlebar heaters work great the thumb warner not-so-much.

I purchased this Tusk Thumb warmer for the Tusk Handlebar Grip Heater Kit w/Molded Grips and Digital Control. I installed it on my 2011 Polaris Sportsman XP 850 and it was easy to install and connect to the grip heater kit wiring. I found the thumb warmer doesn't get hot enough with the temp control on the grip heater kit. It would be nice to get more heat to the thumb when the grips are too warm.

I bought it with the Tusk Grip Heater Kit and this unit is a plug and play while the other you have to splice wires. So I had to splice the this one up and make it work. I am sure it would be easier if you bought the appropriate matching piece but if you want to use existing grips you must by one without the plug and play.

This thumb warmber works well but make sure you put it on a separate circuit with its own switch. Sometimes it gets too hot and you just want to turn it off and have the handwarmers going. Ended up rewiring it in the end on the advise of a polaris dealer.

I purchased this with the hand grip warmers but am unable to install them myself. I wish it came with a link to an online video I could watch on how to install.

Have not yet had time to install hoping it works as good as the heated grips, expect it will. Last piece of the puzzle to keep hands warm, if it works as good as the grips will be great. Don't expect any less. Finding out Tusk product are very good.

I installed this on my 2006 Polaris sportsman following the instructions and it went great. I installed it with the handwarmers and the installation went smoothly.
