I was curious about my oven temperature if it was accurate or not. I purchased this and found out my oven was off 30° I was shocked. I use this to get my oven and large toaster oven up to the correct temperature before I put the food in. Big difference!

I am looking for the refregirato thermo, I want the thermal Liguid was Alchohole, all most made was kerosin.so I am looking for can use below -20degrees.This item was Very good perfomance, I was sustify !

Either this thing is off or my oven is off 40 degrees. I think it is my over.

For years we have had to bake or roast items in the oven much longer than called for in the recipe.I noticed that chefs on a number of TV cooking shows have similar thermostats in the ovens that they use.We religiously use this thermostat to determine the oven temperature at the rack position holding the cooking dish. This approach has made it much easier to align the cooking times and internal dish temperatures with the recipes.We love this simple device! Good value for the price. BTW our very well regarded oven’s middle rack actual temperature is 25 degrees less than the set temperature!

I'm sure it works well, but haven't really used it much. It's hard to hang in my oven. It's stored in my bottom drawer in the kitchen.
