Earthwise Power Tools by ALM BL80204 20-Volt 4.0Ah Replacement Lithium-Ion Battery

Had a horrible snow removal situation where there was destruction of property and a jerk of a customer service OWNER, so I had to find something that would allow me (disabled mess) to just push a snow thrower with no cord, and I don't like flammable liquids in my garage- SO, I got the battery operated Earthwise snow thrower. It's been great ! The battery lasts plenty of time to clear a sidewalk and double wide driveway. I got extra batteries and chargers for big storms, but am very pleased with the battery quality and no loss of strength of oomph even towards the end of the snow clearing. For someone who is in constant pain, it'd be nice not to have a graduate of the school for the visually impaired doing my snow removal- but this set up will work for now. Good to have options.

I bought the snowthrower and this extra battery last season, charged both but only needed the original. This season the original died after extended use, so I put in the extra. I could make 2 passes then the machine stops. I take the battery out and put it back in and again it works for a single pass then the machine stops. The battery must not fit properly. The original battery has zero issues, so it isnt the machine

I have had the electric mower for over 5 years and the original batteries are beginning to fade; that is the main reason I bought a replacement. If the replacement lasts as long as the originals it will be well worth the money. The first time I charged and used it it did not seem to hold a sufficient charge to do my entire lawn. But subsequent charges have show it has a fuller capacity similar to the original one. I have a yard about 80' x 75' and the battery, when starting fully charged can mow the yard about 1 1/2 times before running out. It has been a great mower system for me. It was reassuring for me that I could still get replacement batteries as the mower itself should last for many years.

Absolute junk! Do not buy this product unless you only need it once or twice. Purchased this product at the end of winter last year. Used it for 2 light snow storms (2") and all went well. Snow thrower works as I would expect a battery operated unit would work. This year it has only been used twice and already both batteries and / or the charger have failed. Can't tell what has failed, batteries or the charger. Definitely not going to buy 2 more batteries AND a charger to find out. To the trash it all goes and I'll find a better reviewed unit.

The battery was a replacement for my old battery which was the same Earthwise company battery. My old one lasted a long time and the new one is larger so I think it will even last longer.
