Avidlove Women Full Slips Sexy Chemise Nightgown V Neck Straight Dress Nightwear S-4XL

I bought two of these slips XLs (black and nude) to go under my new fave Sante Classic microfiber kaftans ($25 each) (which I now have six of) and I'm now buying an additional XXL nude slip because I wear them both all the time. The old XLs fit fine and didn't shrink and wash well but I'm thinking an XXL will fit a little looser (it's stretchy but not clingy.) I'm 5'9" and about 170 lbs. I've gained 20+ pounds so don't fit into my old clothes and can't wear anything tight around my waist because of a digestive disorder, but I've found to my surprise (at 70) that I can still be beautiful comfortable and convenient by alternating these gorgeous comfy kaftans/slips--in bed, at home, at the computer, at church, running errands. The slips are comfy and long enough to make the light kaftans "decent" (you can--sort of--see through them if you stand in the light just right, so they require a slip. The kaftans are bright, beautiful, traditional designs (about 30 different ones in the microfiber style--I haven't tried the satin ones)--and I have had a million compliments on them. Well, in a year, about 20. That's not bad! I found them on a church friend who gave me the brand to look up on Amazon. The kaftans ship in about two days, never wrinkle, wash & wear instantly, never fade, never change in any way that I can tell. I wear them so much I'll probably pull some threads eventually, but I can get a friend with a machine to reinforce a seam if necessary, as the fabric is really just two squares and a neckline. The slips are all-around great too. I live in these clothes in six varied bright colors and designs--in comfort and ease--and I don't miss my old clothes. I wash both after two wearings which is why I have 6 outfits. Not bad for a complete new wardrobe for under $200...! :) I'll have to figure out something else for winter though (I wear the kaftans spring/summer/fall with black sandals, black purse and/or a black shawl) but I'll be back to sweatshirts and loose pants for the winter--and some loose dresses I guess. I still have some somewhere but I don't want to wear anything else. BTW, I love Avidlove's packaging. My wife wears a lot of dresses, they work great for her and her body type. She is always looking for good slips to pair with her dresses. We have bought a lot of other pieces from Avidlove as they have a large catalogue of lingerie, so we know that they use great materials and their sewing is good as well. My wife is very happy with this slip. The beige color matches her well and the straps are adjustable and comfortable for her. The length is long enough to hit her right above the knee, so that works great for her as she wears skirts and dresses below there anyways. The material is so soft. We knew it would be, Avidlove always uses the best fabrics. She doesn't get bunching or rolls with the slip and it really accentuates her with the dresses she wears. we are both happy with this slip. She is 5'4", 143 lbs, 32" waist, 41" hips, 36B and the Medium is a great fit for body fit and length.

It will work for its intended purpose. It does have adjustable straps, which are not represented in the advertiser's pictures (except on the other colors) or mentioned anywhere in the ad. Thankfully, I saw another buyer's pictures and read recent reviews that mentioned the adjustable straps that I wanted. I can only guess that the ones stating theirs did not have adjustable straps received an older/different version. The metal straps appear to be coated brass, so they should be just fine and not rust. They seem sturdy and durable. The way the tag is sewn in the back will prevent me from being able to wear this with the straight neckline in front. The tag is black and heavily sewn in so it would show if left in and any attempts to remove it would leave noticeable damage. The fit: Because of my build, I am use to having difficulty with one piece garments. I'm 5'6" and weigh 170lbs. I'm top heavy in that I wear size 12 jeans but a 38 DD or E bra so I usually need a 16 or 18 top. Going by this garment's size chart, I ordered the XXL and it was still a bit snug. The lay flat measurement of mine was 39 inches at the chest and 33 inches in length from the center of the V to the hem. With the straps set at a modest height, it hits me right in the middle of my knees and doesn't feel like it will creep or cling. I was curious how the material of this garment would feel and appear. Was it going to be cotton-like matte or slinky satin? Well, a bit of both but it's not actually cotton and it's definitely not a satin feel or appearance either. Viscose is hard to describe but imagine cotton and silk had a baby. It definitely leans more toward a super soft cotton feel with just a hint of a sheen to it and has a fair amount of stretch. It's quite light weight, great for summer dresses so I can't imagine it making anything you wear any hotter. I also have a sweater dress that this will be perfect for wearing under when the weather gets colder.

I’m in love with this! I bought it to use as a slip and I’ve been living in it since it arrived. It’s so soft and comfy. It doesn’t seem to attract static like silky slips. I generally hate slips, they remind me of middle school and static and holly hobby dresses, but I have a few very sheer dresses that made it mandatory that I have something under them so I bought this reluctantly. It doesn’t move up and down my hips or legs like some slips but stays smooth and doesn’t get in the way of my dresses. Don’t tell anyone but I’ve been sleeping in it too. It’s just great in every way. I started with the nude color which I received quickly but I’ve already ordered the black (which has an insane delay in shipping - but I knew that up front and was willing to wait because of how much I love the nude). I’m going to order a few more. Honestly, it’s so inexpensive but it feels luxurious on. I wish I could live in it. It’s really quickly become one of my favorite things.

I like the looks of this slip and liked it even more when I received it. Tried it on and hey, it works for me. Light weight, comfortable. Washed it in cold water and dried it in the drier keeping a close eye on it. The material feels good next to skin and it does stretch. I bought a 2x, I'm exactly 5 foot tall, I have bit of a middle and it still comes to just below my knees. I like this slip.

This is the second of this nightgown that I ordered because I love the first one so much I wanted a spare. HOWEVER this one is NOT Modal/Spandex. See photo of the tags: the first one I received in February 2021 is on the left; the second, received April 2021, is on the right. Advertised as Modal/Spandex but is actually 100% polyester. I could tell this one differed from the first the moment I put it on: this polyester one is clingy and hugs my curves and every lump and bump I’d rather not highlight. It’s a bit scratchier than the first version. The actual Modal/Spandex version hangs more loosely—the cut is slightly boxy—and is smoother to the touch. (For the record the tag on the first one actually says “Spendex” with two Es. But the listings say Spandex.) They are both Avidlove (a brand I quite like) and are listed with the same photos and text. I guess just check the fabric content and care tag before you try it on. Since I tried it on and it’s technically a nightgown I wouldn’t feel comfortable returning it, so I kept it even though I don’t love it. The Modal/Spandex one is so much better: silky, flattering and comfortable. I’m 5'6", 239 lbs, and am “pear shaped”, meaning I’ve got both a generous belly and a booty. I definitely recommend the size XXL, particularly given the clinginess of the polyester version.

I am pleasantly surprised by this slip. That fabric is not the usual slippery nylon or polyester. It feels like very soft cotton. It's really comfortable. I'm tall, so I needed the "skirt" part to be long enough to be just below knee length-- which it turned out it is. Would purchase this again.

It’s exactly what they said it was, a night gown. I was looking for a slip to wear under a dress and because it stated that it was a slip, I ordered it. It’s definitely a nice night gown. Soft and comfortable.

So comfortable and great fit. I plan to get one in black and skin tone as soon as stock allows. I wear it under sheer dresses and skirts and they hang beautifully. The breathable fabric is practical and sexy...who’d thought!

This is just what I needed to go under another dress I purchased that was much too sheer. But if you expect to wear it out as a single dress, you’ll be disappointed. I bought it in white and it is pretty see through and thin. But it’s just what I had required so for that reason I’ll give it a 5/5. The fabric certainly is nice and it’s comfortable.

I haven’t worn this yet but needed a slip to wear under skirts and dresses, especially in the winter when I wear tights (the fabric of the skirt clings to the tights). The fabric is soft and comfortable but I haven’t worn it yet.
