Growing Up: A Modern Memory Book for the School Years (Heirloom Story Books and Guided Journals)

This is such a lovely memory book. I bought two. One for each of my kids and they’re both beautiful and high quality. I love that my kids write their names in it each year so we can see how their handwriting changes. Highly recommend! The designs on the pages are very beautiful.

I was so excited to find this book. I used the baby book this author created for both my children, and my daughter just turned 5 (the end of the book). It was hard for me to put away her baby book, but when I found out they have a school age book, I was so excited! They look great sitting next to each other on the shelf, and instead of feeling like I am closing the book on my child being a baby, I feel like I am just beginning the book of her childhood.These books are beautifully designed and help me keep up with important memories. I just love them.

I pre-ordered this school years book for my 8 year old daughter after being so impressed with the baby book that I recently purchased for our baby due in Oct. We have been using a different school years book that was such poor quality and design, but there was nothing else out there when I bought it! Thankfully, there is enough content on our other school years book (favorite foods, color, etc.) that I can mostly backtrack and fill in the Kinder and 1st section in this book. The only big struggle to back track on is the pointed questions like "Describe yourself in three words", unfortunately those will have to be left blank. Thankfully, I have extra school photos from previous years and plenty of art samples to add. I'm even going to print some pictures to put in as well. The birthday section is going to be very easy to fill out in retrospect (no pointed questions for the child). For the the section that asked for the years highlights, I just went back through my photos and was quickly reminded of all the field trips, etc. We are just now completing the 2nd grade section a bit late and will be all on track for 3rd grade. I love that this goes through high school. I am so excited about this beautiful book, it is going to be very special for her to have when she is older. Despite being late to the game, it is all going to come together beautifully and is so worth the extra effort! The quality and design is incredible. I adore this book!

I searched for a way to document my children’s school years for so long. I am definitely not a scrapbook person so I needed something with prompts and well organized. I love the prompts in this book. It has just the right amount of space to document all the important things, some fun memories and pictures without being overwhelming. It is also so pretty and timeless! I’ll be getting one for each of my children once they age out of the baby books we have (also by Korie and absolutely lovely!)

This memory book is such a treasure! Just like her As We Grow and As You Grow books, Korie does an incredible job of making a book that is both functional and beautiful. The As You Grow book ends with memories up to 5 years old, and this book starts with Kindergarten. It's a nice transition and a perfect place to keep memories for your child's school years. The first day of school interview has great questions that will be so fun to see how they compare over the years. I know I will cherish this long after my kids are grown!

LOVE this sequel to Korie’s baby book, As You Grow. I desired to have a book to keep a handful of school memories for all 5 of my children. I really enjoy the prompts and feel like they capture just enough of the year. With having only a handful of pages per year it also makes it manageable for a parent with lots of children to feel like they actually could accomplish it each year. It’s a beautiful book & I love that it coordinates with the baby book. Once again Korie gave it her all & it shows!

I used the baby book version of this for both my kids, so I was excited to find that there was a school years version. I ordered one for each of them. The book is nice and I like the prompts. However, I will have to return them because they are missing the Kindergarten pages completely. School doesn’t start for two months, so I’m lucky I noticed before the return window closed!

Very nice book. Thoughtful questions and memories. Downfall - only one pocket for memories and pages can easily come off the ring. You just need to be careful.
