We live in Florida and have softer sand. So we did did a wider while and put in 450lb of cement. this is not going anywhere. Very easy to put in the tube and telescope to the highest of 20ft. Flag is great quality as well. Doing here the clicking on the pole like some others will do. The only thing is it isn’ta fully tight fit in the tube so the pole will sway when the wind blows but not to the point the pile is bending. I figure it is negate of the tube and flexibility is has. Haven’t had our hurricane season with it yet but I love that I can also remove it and bring inside when we do get those. So far the highest wind was around 42mph and no issues at all.We purchased separately the LED solar light for the topI would hugely recommend this any day of the week!

I am finally writing a review of this flagpole as I have had this for almost two full years now and frankly I LOVE and HATE this pole. First the good, this has been, as far as the POLE is concerned, the sturdiest and strongest flagpole I have ever used. Whether I have one flag or two on it when a Florida thunderstorm comes through it just laughs and does it's job. The finish has held up fairly well and the pole DOES NOT bend. But now the bad, the Achilles heel of this awesome flag pole, the locking system. While the plastic parts seem robust, they are not, in two years of service I have a cracked cap under the finial, and have had to replace the locking sleeves so often that I keep a box of them on hand at all times and they ARE EXPENSIVE to buy and EXPENSIVE to ship at 25.00 a set and 17.00 shipping! See the pictures for the failure points on these. Now I know how the flagpole operates and always make sure proper alignment gently before locking the lugs. The only time I telescope the pole down is to change the flag which has been a total of five times in it's life so far or when a tropical system comes through which has been three times. The failures never occur at or about flag change but rather during or after a strong thunderstorm. The max a Florida thunderstorm gets, wind-wise in this area is 50-75mph for short bursts and the pole is rated for two flags at 95mph. At the near 500.00 price point I would have expected these to hold up but I have replaced them several times now always on the first or second set of sleeves from the bottom. BEWARE!!!

The media could not be loaded.  Very good quality! I m very pleased, and honestly pleasantly surprised at the quality. I especially like the unique locking mechanism that is different from either the twist lock or push pin methods. I had to look long and hard and read a bunch of reviews to find a flag pole that isn't from China, but am disappointed that I had to pay so much more for something that is made here in the US. I understand that China can produce things cheaper because of their forced labor but they also have to ship it from the other side of the world. We need to be more competitive with our pricing, period. This is why so many people buy from them. While I do believe that this product is high in quality...probably more than most of the other products in comparison. Most people are driven by low price and China knows this. I personally was willing, and able, to pay for the American made product and I truly believe I got what I paid for; a much better product. Let's face it. What is the (hypocritical) point of giving China your hard earned American money to fly a flag that represents freedom, to show your neighbors that you are proud to be an American, if you buy a flag and flag pole that is made in China. You would actually be more patriotic to not have a flag and flag pole at all as opposed to having the ones that are Made in China. That being said and I'm off my soap box, I really REALLY like this flag pole. I would just wish the price was more competitive so that more Americans would choose it over the less expensive Chinese products. But as I stated this is a very good quality pole and according to the description of the many many products I read thru, it is built better and stronger with thicker guage metal.

Very sturdy and well constructed. I bought the 25' and loved it so much I bought another one for my backyard! I fly 2 flags and has withstood 35mph winds without a problem.

The pole was exactly as advertised. Very easy to set up and install and looks great. My only issue is that it should be available with a Canadian Flag as it's sold on Amazon Canada - or at least have the option of selecting either a Canadian or SA flag.
