Crucial Ballistix RGB BL2K8G32C16U4RL 3200 MHz, DDR4, DRAM, Desktop Gaming Memory Kit, 16GB (8GB x2), CL16, Red

I recently purchased ballistics tactical tracers and I was so disappointed as the rgb was super dim and made a high pitched noise when on. I didn’t realise that these were cheaper and better so I got these instead and returned the old ones. I really didn’t want to get Corsair memory as they never run at the speed stated on the box so I really wanted to get these. I installed them and was instantly blown away by how bright they were and vibrant. Out of the box they worked with XMP 3200mhz but after some tweaking and looking at reviews I got them at 3600mhz stable and I’m super happy with them the pictures don’t show the rgb it’s justice but they look amazing in person. I’ll be recommending these to anyone looking for rgb fast ram.

1st of all fantastic Ram from Crucial at a nice price. It worked at 3200 With XMP enabled & from what i heard some have managed to OC this Ram further to 3600. With that said i'm using this on my Gigabyte Aorus Elite Z390 Motherboard & worked straight out of the box. However upon using RGB Fusion 2.0 Software my Ram would not sync nor change colour. Not sure what was going on as i didnt have any other RGB software installed. RGB Fusion 2.0 detects my Ram but nothing more. Windows 10 was all updated too. At this point i Contacted Crucial UK reguarding this matter but they wasnt intrested unless i was using there MOD RGB software for the Ram. Crucial UK said this was RGB Fusion 2.0 issue. I then Contacted Gigabyte but they keep asking to to trying diffrent older versions of there RGB Fusion 2.0 to no avail. Apart from all that the Ram works just fine .

Low profile compared to other RAM sticks. Great vibrant colours, really nice in white. Will be purchasing another 16GB kit in the next month or two to make my system have 32gb total. The 3600mhz version is only £8 more. Really great for the price to have RGB, thank you for a great priced product.

If you're looking for something with style and substance this RAM will fit your build perfectly. Take a look at the video for a closer look and how to enable your RAM to run at 3200mhz clock speed. This RAM great speed extremely snappy and quick. It produces beautiful RGB light that pop and are nice and vibrant, great addition to add some style to your build. It works well with AMD Ryzen Build, currently got this on a Ryzen 5 3600XT and a ASUS Prime x570-p motherboard. Out of the box is was running around 2666mhz, to enable it to run at it's highest clock speed of 3200mhz you'd need to ensure your motherboard is on the latest BIOS for stability. Once this is has been done enter your BIOS and find either D.O.C.P or XMP (Depending on your motherboard). For this particular motherboard it was D.O.C.P selecting the relevant profile 1 Restart your PC and now your RAM is running at 3200mhz. Easy Peasy. Overall, this is a great product to add to your build if you're looking for great speeds and amazing RGB lights. I would highly recommend.

Crucial really have struck diamond with these ballistix kits. Micron rev.e is amazingly good value when compared to offerings from Samsung and Hynix in the same price category, I know Ive got the RGB version but for £10 less (at the time of writing) you can get the non-RGB version which perform identically. The similarly priced kits from the other brands usually use Samsund C die, like the Vengeance RGB Pro kit I owned previously, which have very, very little room for any overclock and I think it actually caused some OS degradation. I'm yet to overclock this kit because my CPU's IMC is pretty garbage, but after I upgrade that I'll definitely be giving it a shot. Currently running the kit at the XMP settings which is 3200MHz CL 16-18-18-36. I've seen people post results of getting this 3200mhz cl16 kit up to 3800 CL16, with slightly looser primaries and secondaries ofc, but it's still mind blowing that it can be done on these cheap kits. You'd need decent Samsung B die to get this level and the kits that use them cost considerably more money, which doesn't make sense to buy unless you're aiming for 4000MHz+, but at that point you're hitting diminishing return levels. The sticks are also much lower profile than my old kit which means they won't interfere with the big tower coolers like the NH-D15 and Dark Rock 4. The kits comes out the box with the rainbow wave RGB mode which doesn't stay synced for very long. Luckily this kit supports basically all the major motherboard RGB softwares, and it also has its own Ballistix MOD software that u can use to check dimm temperature, operating frequency and timings. There's also the section to control RGB and to give Crucial credit there are lots of different customisation options. Onto the *only* thing I don't like about this kit, and that's the way they've gone about the RGB. Unlike my Corsair kit, these dimms won't keep my RGB settings after they lose power, ie after I shut down my PC. They will default to the rainbow mode until I launch the software manually. And if you set the software to boot with windows it asks for admin permissions EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. and it gets annoying, and even with the app enabled to start up it will only use the colour/mode you set; you have to change the brightness manually every time if you don't want your LEDs burning at max brightness. With my Corsair kit I could set the colour/mode/brightness I wanted and then disable iCue software from ever launching, and those sticks would remember the last setting no matter how many times I turned the PC off and on. I'm guessing Corsair were smart enough to include some type of memory chip on the RAMs PCB to remember the RGB settings without having to run any bloatware. Disappointed to see Crucial could not follow suit Other than that minor gripe, these sticks look and run great

Works well and it’s super fast. The RGB looks nice however the software is a nightmare to use but for me it’s still a 5 star because I have used other softwares (e.g:Signal RGB) that works with it so it’s working perfectly for me.

This was a last-minute choice as I realised the RAM I wanted to buy had some reviews that persuaded me to stay away. This was well priced so I bought it. The PC is for my nephew but I put it through its paces and all was stable, no crashes whatsoever even after overclocking. I just needed to change the voltage in BIOS (MSI B-450 Carbon Max Wifi) from 1.2 to 1.35 and two more settings to get this RAM run at 3200 MHz. I have managed to synchronise its lighting with the MOBO Lighting, Corsair RGB Fans (220T), and CPU'S RGB Fan so I am not using the iCUE Software of the 220T as that would create a colour discord as it cannot control non-corsair RGB Devices.

Now this is good RAM if you want to tinker with the timings! It's a few quid more than the similar offerings from Corsair and Kingston, but this stuff seems to be much more tolerant to a fiddle. I currently have these two sticks running at 3400MHz as CL14 which seems to be a sweet spot in my Ryzen set up. The LEDs are VERY bright but if you're buying RGB RAM then you want it to be seen! I'm assuming there's some software you can install to control the lighting pattern and I'm pretty sure I should be able to sync it with the Aorus motherboard but I like the generic rainbow wave effect so haven't looked in to this yet. Really good RAM. If it was a tenner or so cheaper it would wipe the floor with the competition.

Value for money, and affordable for good overclocking memory without having the need to pay a huge rgb tax. Purchased 2 kits of 16 and I'm happy to assure you that it comes with micron Rev E die. Which is a rather impressive and cheaper alternative compared to conventional Samsung B die.

Very happy with the purchase as it gave me a noticeable performance boost from 2166Mhz. As for the RGB side of things, while it is ASUS Aura compatible, the ASUS software only allowed me basic functionality. There was also no way to have the RAM have a lighting scheme separately from the other components. Thankfully the downloadable software worked perfectly and provided a ton more lighting control options.

Product came packaged well, works properly.

最初レッドのを8G x2枚購入。なかなか良かったので今度は別マシン用にホワイト 8GB x2枚を追加購入。 日本語のレビューが少ないのでどーかとも思いましたが、マイクロンなのでそもそも心配する必要すらありませんね。 サイズがギリギリとかいうレビューがありますが、特にそんなこともなく、普通のLED搭載メモリーのサイズです。というかLED搭載にしてはコンパクトな方かと。 光りかたはとても綺麗で点々が見えるようなこともなく、単色で光らせてもいい感じです。商品写真の通りの光りかたですので、イメージしやすいかと。 3200ですが、Asus B550に使いましたが、このメモリー、自動では2600として認識しますので手動で3200に変更する必要はあります。当然ですが3200で安定動作します。LED搭載メモリーとしてはコスパ良く、マイクロンの安心感とともに、お勧めのメモリーかと思います。
