These are good boots, that were a great value. Sadly, they increased the price significantly from the time I wrote my original review, and it puts them in a different league of boot. For the previous price, they were a fantastic value, now the price is in the range of many very good options. I'll look at other options next time I buy.

I just want to say this is the second pair of shoes/boots I purchased. Very comfortable No stretching when wet. I liked these boots so much that I ordered this pair for casual wear while I wear my older pair for work. They are lightweight with perfect amount of room in the toe area. Extremely comfortable and affordable and as in the past Ryno sent me a free pair of socks. The socks are high quality!

Comfortable. Use as work boots. Only 4 stars only because they are NOT WATERPROOF!!! I'm outside in the elements, and my feet get SOAKED, other than that, they are great. I'm going to spray them down with SCOTCHGUARD and hope that fixes the problem.

They fit perfectly with the socks, I got. Laced up tight, but not losing circulation, didn't need to wear ankle sleeves on my stretch out ankle tendons. Wore them for a 20+ day VaCay in GSM, AT & Grandfather Mountain Highland Games. Lets just say they were put though one unbelievable stress test. Treking through waterfalls, creeks, rivers, on wet rocks, muddy dirt, concrete and asphalt trails. Can honestly say these hikers exceed my expectations. The original plan was to trash them after the last trail, but they became so comfortable I wore them home and still have them. They need a good cleaning and treated. I'm going to keep them around awhile. This pair of hikers is an excellent purchase, exceeds limits and worth the money. If you are comparing or trying to edge out a different set... These hikers are your winners!!!

They are very comfortable soft boots that fit well. I wanted these to alternate with my tennis shoes I wear daily that my wife does not like. Size is true to fit. Lightweight and appear to be made well. Time will tell. Waiting for the KIWI Silicone Spray I ordered as well. They also came with a complementry pair of very nice cooling boot socks!.

Love the boots! - sturdy & durable, yet (very) comfortable and light weight. My size 11 was a perfect fit, with just enough room for thin (or thick) socks. And, they are good looking boots - fit for walks, hiking or doing landscape work on the property.

First of all, I LOVE RYNOGEAR and this is my third pair. They use a great last and typically surprise and reward the price point shopper with a way better than average pair of boots which exceed expectations. This pair arrived with torn fabric on both boots where the lacing holes are. Other than that, they are a superb fit and comfortable out of the box for all-day wear, a minor triumph for someone like me with RA which effects both feet. The smaller height offers better support than a low cut shoe, but not as involved as lacing my other pairs of higher tops-they are penultimate. I did contact the vendor per their instructions but have yet to hear from them, thus the lower review. RYNOGEAR is a terrific company with very capable products and ALWAYS add a terrific pair if their COOLMAX socks with each order-a great touch. I've seen some other photos posted of the same problem, so am not going to bombard readers with what is obviously a factory quality control issue. I do hope this can be resolved as they are otherwise fine and super comfortable. My other two taller pairs have served me well and I remain a faithful customer.

I put these on as soon as they arrived and wore them a few hours. Super comfortable and doesn't seem to need to have any break in time as they fit great and are already comfortable on the feet. I have wide feet with high arches and these are perfect. They look and feel durable, but only time will tell for sure. The leather did hold up when a horse scraped the side with its hoof. The leather had no mark or scratch from it which is awesome. I would suggest sizing down because I am normally an 8.5 and it felt a half size too big, but keeping them anyways since they are very comfortable and I can tighten laces or wear thick socks which they gave me a free pair! Hope they maintain quality because I am a Ryno Gear fan now.

The shoes are of high quality materials and construction. A 5 km test walk proved they are comfortable and lightweight. I will order another pair when the time comes !
