Mellow coffee. Slightly chocolate, slightly sweet flavor. (It has no actual chocolate or sweetener.)
My favorite coffee. Over the year I've been brewing it, I found that the water source makes a big difference to the flavor. I had first made this Colombia Jo with water from the amazon basics brand of water filter pitcher, and the result was a little bitter. Then I started using a filter pitcher that removes more solids and removes chlorine, and the coffee tastes wonderful. I don't have patience to follow multiple steps in the kitchen, but using the better filter pitcher is quick and simple. I don't use sugar in coffee but sometimes as a treat, I'll stir in vanilla ice cream into my cup of hot Colombia Jo coffee.

Great!!!! Medium coffee
Iโve have tried a lot of different coffees from Amazon looking for a great coffee and great taste in medium roast. This coffee didnโt disappoint. I even kept trying different coffee brands, but always came back for this one. And now I enjoy it almost every other morning.

Value for the money!
I love this coffee! If anyone asks, "I'm going to Starbucks, you want anything?" I say nope, I prefer my own thanks. It's lovely black but if I want to liven it up I'll add a flavored creamer. So smooth and never bitter. I've been drinking it for years now. I used to get Gevalia which is also good but SO EXPENSIVE! I'll stick with Jos!

excellent cup of coffee
I do immensely enjoy a nice cup of Columbian Jo. Put through a french press with a medium ground bean. Sitting at my breakfast nook perhaps reading a great book by Richard Dawkins. I take about a 6โ7 oz cup with a teaspoon of honey and a splash of milk. The milk must be gluten-free along with the coffee and honey. I have found the โJoโ brand is great at that while producing a superior whole-bean coffee. I have only recently found this brand and I am very pleased with it. So many brands of coffee have added chemicals that will contain gluten making their products just a poor or substandard version of what they should actually be. Starbucks and the rebranded Costco (Also Starbucks) coffees are examples of this. It is just so hard to find a good bean that has been properly roasted without having to throw the entire bag away after just one cup because it is contaminated because of the gluten. Do I have to remind myself that if gluten can get in the coffee then what other harmful chemicals could be in there? So, I am finally at peace with my forever coffee being โJoโ.
