It doesn't etch like plastic, easy to clean, no complex surfaces and nooks for bacteria to grow. I *disassemble and clean the pump* and surfaces every few weeks as per the instructions. If the pump fails you (the 1star reviews seem to all not understand), it's likely from mineral buildup on the impeller, or the little motor housing got a small leak. * All the fountains on amazon use this same grade pump. * They are cheap to replace if you need one. But just keep them clean. Vinegar or citric acid cleans mineral buildup. just ofc make sure you rinse really really well.

My girl is turning 12, and I'm having trouble getting her to drink enough water, so we're trying EVERYTHING😅 I paid $35 with tax, I had to look up a video to put it together, but that might just be me 🤷🏼‍♀️ it was super easy and took all of a minute, and its even better than I'd hoped🙏❤️ absolutely SILENT! The reviews saying shock warnings, they're just ridiculous, NO chance! This is the best fountain I've ever had, and its furbaby approved, as well👍Now all I need is a little rug to keep under it 😉

Wanted the cleanest fountain for my kitties, and every stainless option seemed to still have a plastic dish. With this fountain, the ONLY plastic parts are the pump and cord. I have only had it about a week, but the simple yet effective design seems pretty perfect. My cats are 100% drinking more water and they really seem to like it!

It was great, came well packed and good design. Worked perfectly. However my cat continued to drink out of the toilet so 🤷‍♀️

Very quiet fountain with nice water flow. My cat and small dog both love it. They are drinking much more water. I ordered one and after the 30 day return wiendow ended the pump quit working. I ordered another one and it is working fine.

I like this water bowl/fountain. Much easier to disassemble and clean than previous teardrop shaped metal bowl. Very quiet.

Ich liebe den Brunnen!Ich hatte vor diesem Brunnen einen aus Plastik und würde nie wieder zurückwechseln.Der Brunnen ist kratzfest (man kann auch mal richtig mit dem Schwamm rein ohne alles zu zerkratzen), spülmaschinenfest, leise und ein Hingucker in der Wohnung.Der Brunnen ist jetzt schon seit mehr als 6 Monaten im Betrieb und ich habe nichts Negatives auszusetzen.

1 Sterne für die Optik. Würde 2 geben aber es ist nicht schön verarbeitet. 3 Brunnen habe ich zugeschickt bekommen und alle 3 sind zurück gegangen. Bei dem Preis will ich keine schlechte Verarbeitung. Die Reinigung ist leider auch umständlich. Motor ist auch nicht besonders hochwertig. Sehr schade. Hoffe es wird nach einer Lösung gesucht. Er gefällt mir so sehr von der Optik auf den Bildern.
