Gerber GDC Belt Tool [31-002508]

This Belt is of Amazing quality and the tool fits snug in the belt so it wont fall out easily.Yes the belt is heavy but it is of a high quality build... it uses alot of steel in the buckle... the rest of it is a durable nylon strap...To complain about the weight of this buckle is totally pointless... the belt does not weigh you down when you're walking around..

Excellent belt. Buckle is a bit on the heavy side but, it's pretty awesome.

A fantastic belt, been using it every day for the past four weeks and i have to say, Im very impressed with Gerber on this product. The tool itself is handy and slips free with ease, as well as slips back in the buckle without trouble. Though there are two little nitpicks I have preventing this product from getting five stars.First one is that the belt has to be cut to size. In the short run, not a big deal. Cut with your choice of blade and then melt the nylon with a lighter or match. In the long run however it causes the nylon to fray with continuous use even if you melt the frayed end. This is of course common in this type of material, so expect to fix it every so often.The second and probably the biggest, The buckle itself seems to have been put together incorrectly upon first delivery. Sadly this is to be expected with most Gerber products, but is an easy fix with a standard flat head screwdriver or allen wrench. Simply take apart the sheath buckle and flip it around to make it look like the picture of the product.All in all, happy with it. I am able to hang my cell phone pouch as well as my Leatherman and water flask from it, so it is indeed strong and living up to expectations.

I bought this belt setup for my backpacking and hiking.The good, Buckle and Tool are secure and easy to access.The not so good, or could be improved - The belt material is a big light and I am looking for a heavier material to really hang my tools.I would also like to be able to take the other Gerber tools and interchange them with the buckle. Instead of the default tool I would like to slip in the knife tool instead when needed.

Good belt, only if the hook-end would stop separating from the belt. I wouldn't recommend this belt, just a waste of money.

The buckle was overly large and heavy for a belt buckle, and the tool was tiny and impractical. I'm not sure why such a large, heavy metal buckle is needed for when the tool is effectively just a flathead screwdriver/bottle opener.

Great sturdy belt. Tool comes in handy. Good looking too. I get lots of compliments.

As a large man I was thrilled to see that 52" was the real measurement on this belt. It's probably the first time I've ever needed to cut down a belt to my waist size. Very well made and I've found myself using the multitool even more than I thought I would. It's a great conversation starter at a party when someone needs a bottle opener and you whip one out of your belt!
