TD Jakes does not disappoint. I read the book - this devotional is a great reusable summary of the punchlines.

Worth every penny and a great conversation piece

I have been encouraged and challenged by the biblical based daily readings. It's not the everyday happy go lucky stories so get ready for real personal growth.

TD Jakes observations and lessons are always inspiring and leave one uplifted. However, I found the format of the daily readings in this book to be repetitive (almost as though he thought the reader wouldn't remember the story from one day to the next so the background was explained time and again).

Short but very meaningful devotionals based off a Biblical figure who would become part of the lineage of Christ. Biblical back up, encouraging and to the point. Makes you think, and relate.

Got this as a gift for my husband and he absolutely LOVED it!

This is so well written & is very helpful putting your trials & tribulations into a positive light! Showing how those same trials are leading you to your Destiny
