I got these to help with grocery pickups. My girlfriend is the one that usually manages these things so I thought it would be helpful to get these so she wouldn't have to keep going through those so-called reusable bags that cost a lot and rip in a week, usually at a weak seam or strap. These are like the grocery bags of old. They aren't thick at all so expect them to tear if you're not sensibly careful with them. They arrived neatly placed in a heavy duty cardboard box and so far none of them have torn when dispensed. They have no holes, so they are quite leak proof, but again, I wouldn't trust them beyond protecting my goods. Beyond that these are much too thin for heavier use. We're very satisfied with these, though my girl's going to need to re-adjust to thinner bags, at least we're saving money on replacing "reusable" bags.

I seems to me that these are a bit smaller than the ones I get at the market, but since I use them mostly for trash (wet chicken, vegetable scraps etc) it fits the bill pretty well. These are not banned in Ca really, you just have to pay an extra fee to get a bag (like a nickel per bag) This goes to help clean up trash in the environment which I think is great it's just that there is no reasonable way to dispose of messy trash. (paper bags don't work) so what else can you do? I suppose if these would self district after a while it would be better for the environment but they are fine for what they are.

this item does not come as advertised, the bags were plain, no thank you printed on bags, thinner quality than advertised, paid extra for shipping and the seller printed a canada post label but item was very late as it was not picked by canada post for a week, total deception on the part of this vender,
