install was easy to me
works well...install was easy to me...my stepdad was helping me and he was unsure of the 'twist and lock' option for the wiring. he wanted the wires soldered, but when I noted that the instructions clearly stated that soldering may shorten the life of the 02 sensor, he begrudginly allowed me to install the unit per the instructions. I installed this in my '03 accord coupe. The only thing that I would suggest is pay attention to where you want the 'swist and lock' wiring block to be placed (which will be determined by how long or short you make the wires before installation). I opted to route them such that the block was close to one of the factory wiring looms and in a spot where the catalytic converters heat sheild was protecting the wiring block from the heat of the cat.

Does not fit Subaru WRX without existing harness
This product requires the old o2 sensor. It will not fit unless you splice into the existing connector. I am replacing the sensor because the existing connector is damaged, and the original sensor is old. Even if I still had my old part to re-use, I would not use this product since the original connector is brittle and likely to fail. In my case, it already failed. The new sensor and splices look like good quality, but it's just not worth it to me. Splices fail, connectors fail. I'm going to get the right part locally that will plug right in instead of fooling around. Waste of time and money for me.

It works, but it's not fun
It worked, my Check engine light is still on but it's no longer the bank 2 converter code. The converter is probably dead. But the rear O2 sensor was original and 12 years old, it was shot. Anyway, putting this thing together takes patience. It's not that hard, just annoying and you can't really rush. In addition, the poster that said leave a little extra wire was correct if you follow the instructions, you get to put the connectors on inside the plastic connector box which is impossible. The instructions could be better. If you hate building models, you'll hate this, if you like building models, you'll get an extra treat and fix your car. I later found the non universal sensor at another mail order place for the same price, if I had seen it first, I would not have bought this. I don't enjoy building models. Look around and see if you can find a non universal sensor first for a similar price. If you can't you'll get to build this too. I can't speak for the longevity of this thing....

Easy to use and install
Easy to use and install. Comes with step by step picture installation guide. It guides you through measuring the length and where to cut the wires, although I would double check your measurements and see if it'll fit properly. Mine could have used an extra 10cm for wiggle room. The installation guide also comes with a wire colour code chart to convert your OEM wire colours to the Bosch colours. The plug is a little fidgety but fairly simple to put together with the picture guide. It's solid and weather proof. The four twist-lock/clamping connectors are extremely solid (they're way better than crimp terminals) The yellow circle rubber seals the back of each connector and then then large shields go on top. The sensor itself comes pre-greased which is super handy. I'd buy this again.

Works as advertised + fast shipping
Received this item sooner than I expected, bought this for my 1997 Dodge Gran Caravan because the check engine light came on. I have been unplug the negative battery terminal to get around the smog check but not this year, the ODB 2 code reader showing P0140 which is the downstream O2 sensor. You will need a special tool a 7/8" long socket with slot cut in the side to remove the old sensor, I went to auto part store got a loaner tool for this week end job. The instruction comes with the new part was easy to follow and no more error code when I scan it again. The whole job will take about an hour if you have the right tools. I read on all the reviews before I purchased this part, This O2 sensor is for "downstream".

Never had luck with these: 96' Civic & 98' 318ti
Quality product just like all of Bosch's products, but not functional with my 98' BMW 318ti. O2 code went away for 20 minutes or so but promptly returned. Spent $40 for an oem replacement from bosch, haven't had an issue yet.

02 sensor 2005 Miata
used this unit to replace the OEM sensor on 05 Miata. Original part came out much easier than I expected. I soaked the original sensor with PB Blaster about an hour before I tried to remove. The original sensor came right out with not difficulty. Pay attention to the wiring chart is not very intuitive as the color code on the part does not match the factory wiring. Two of the wires are used for the "heater" and the other two are the actual sensor. The supplied wiring connector works well. I moved the connector to a location high in the engine bay to keep it better protected from the elements and make it easier to reach in the future. I also added additional never-seize to the threads to insure easy removal should it ever need to be replaced.

Do not buy
Amazon says this will fit my 2006 civic. It didn't. It will fail its test with high voltage. It came with 4 ft of cable, and you have to manually rewire the thing into a terribly designed connector. It's a genetic piece of junk.

works well
Had two of these, one for a 2005 crv and one for a 2996 crv and they both worked great. You have to be carefull connecting the wires and read the instuctions..Also make sure you leave enough wire on your old connector to join up with the new sensor.

GENÉRICO NO CONFIABLE.
En menos de 1 año dejó de funcionar. Este es el riesgo que se tiene al comprar genéricos. No es recomendable tenerlo.
