Really tasty bresaola and weight correct every time
Good bresaola is on the pricey side no matter where you buy it, but this was good value and good quality. The piece was correct in weight and came right on time, securely packed with two coolpacks. A little chill-down in the fridge and then it sliced up beautifully. Very tender, high-quality beef, not dry or sinewy, on the softer\moister side for this cure, and spiced just right between savory and sweet with a subtle hand; from a first try, I like it better than Volpi's (too dry and strongly cinnamon-allspice) or Bernina's (too bland, marbled and chemical-garlicky.) If I can't get NYC-local handmade bresaola (and I can't, I live in the sticks) then this is definitely the next best thing. Updating review to add that I have now ordered this bresaola two more times. Every time the piece was at or slightly overweight and of top quality. Excellent value for the money and so delicious! Edit: Now on my fourth time ordering this bresaola, and every time I got a piece in the weight range listed and it was delicious. Further edit: I’ve ordered for a fifth time and again the piece was right in the weight range advertised and is just delicious. It’s a shame that one person who complained about getting a piece closer to 2lbs than 3lbs has the first review. After five purchases I have gotten full value for my money every time. Top-quality product and seller.

Exquisite. Like a dream in terms of color, taste and consistency
If you are looking for a splendid Bresaola- seek no further. Wonderful taste with a rich deep red color creating both a visual and gustatory dream. Moist on the tongue and exquisite on the palate. Even a Frenchman like Brillat Savarin would have loved the Italians for this wonderfully prepared gift for the gourmands

Love it! Deliciously Tender and Perfectly Seasoned!
Delicious and easy to slice paper thin with an ordinary carving knife. Smooth, evenly moist, lightly sweet, no saltiness. I really like this product! The Bresaola Punta d’Anca is incredibly tender and has a wonderful depth of flavor. Even without a slicer, it’s easy to cut thin slices as long as you have a sharp knife and a steady hand. The seasoning is perfectly balanced, with subtle hints of garlic and spices that complement the beef without overpowering it. This is high-quality cured meat that adds a delicious touch to charcuterie boards or sandwiches. Highly recommend!

Nice tasting bresaola but the package contains 20% less than advertised
The product is very nice and tastes great but the price per pound is actually a lot higher than you expect. The bresaola is advertised and sold as "3 lb approx" and I actually received a 2.41 lb package. Update: Review changed from 2 to 4 stars. I contacted the seller and told them that they should probably change the advertising of this product to something less misleading (for example represent a 2.4 lb product as "2.5 lb approx" instead of "3 lb approx"). At first their response was somewhat rude and essentially saying that the advertising is not misleading as they receive pieces that are all smaller than 3 lb and therefore saying approximately 3 lb is fine. Well doing some simple math I received 20% less product than advertised and payed almost 25% more per pound than expected. Shortly after they got back to me again saying that they would refund me the 0.5 lb of product that I did not receive. While I appreciate that all the pieces they sell have slightly different weight, I still wonder how many pieces they sell that are actually really "3 lb approx".

Delicious!!!
First time ordering from this brand and I'm quite pleased. I am a huge bresaola fan. I eat bresaola every chance I get, usually in Italian restaurants or high end delis whenever it's available. The description said the item will come in at 2.4-3lbs. Mine came in at 2.6lbs, so I'm fine with that. As for the product itself, it's a bit more moist than what you'd typically find in a deli or restaurant setting. The flavor is very well balanced and you can definitely taste the red wine used in the cure. My wife, 6 year old daughter and I went through this chunk of delicious meat in less than a week and I've already ordered my second slab of deliciousness. The price is more than fair for what you're getting. We do have a slicer so it's quite important to note that bresaola should be eaten very thinly sliced. If you don't have a slicer make sure you have a very sharp and long knife with a thin blade. P.S. this goes perfect with a great bottle of red

Deliziosa bresaola
I live in California. This bresaola is incredible, I was so excited as I am slicing it I keep eating very slice, then eventually I plated it, add a drizzle of olive oil and lemon. I tell my family this is from Italy, but then, I read the label and find out its from Uruguay. Bravi!!! Job well done, I will buy in the future but I wish the price was less. I measured my package on the scale and found it to be only 2.1 lbs so I feel a bit disappointed there.

Very good eats.
Very nice breasola. I didn’t weigh it but the size seemed about right. It arrived very well packed with four freezer packs in a styrofoam box in a cardboard box. Icy cold in northern Florida (Tallahassee) after trip from Long Island in early but fairly warm December. Wonder how it would do in August? If you like this stuff on a regular basis, the price isn’t too bad either. The only Italian deli that sold it in town closed a couple of years ago and Trader Joe’s discontinued their Volpi pre-sliced package, so no longer available here. Make sure you have a good electric slicer. This cannot be cut thinly with a knife unless you’re a world champion at it.
