Flexible hose
Excellent 15โ hose. Flexible, used on miter saw, track saw, and freely to pick up loose saw dust. Looks good w/ my shop vac, and in the garage with the other tools. Right away was able to switch the old hose and go with the new hose and attach to different ports.

Worked very well with several tools
This is a good quality hose. I did not want a stiff piece of cheap plastic to fight with as I vacuumed with a palm sander, a shop vac, and a rental floor sander. I was able to either fit just right or make fit with a few tape wraps everything I needed to do. Went around corners, got stepped on a couple of times, etc. The hose end swivels so you don't have much twisting to battle with. It held up good as new. Good hose and adapters.

Great product; would've given 5 stars but the price held me back.
Pros: Extremely useful for switching tools or adapting things to fit your needs. you can cut the hose to length as needed. The smooth interior of the hose is excellent for CFM, whereas standard corrugated hoses would drop CFM. I like this kit. I've purchased several and have recommended this brand to many people. Cons (in no certain order): 1. From personal experience, it seems like it loses some suction ability around the blue air relief valve and also a little where the silver hose screws into the fitting, regardless if its in the closed position; not significant enough to worry about, just something I noticed. Maybe self-sealing silicone tape would work for you as a temporary fix in certain applications since that kind of tape is (usually) easily removable and doesn't harm the product as long as you don't cut through past silicone tape directly into the hose. I've never seen self-sealing silicone tape leave a sticky mess on anything, ever. I don't recommend doing this when using a sander for example; the air relief valve is very useful in that application as well as other applications. Having a dedicated Cen-Tech Systems hose/connections with self-sealing silicone tape is still useful, just remember to switch hoses when using specific tools. As for air loss where the silver hose screws into the adapter; make sure to screw it in until it bottoms out (it's reverse threaded), check it sometimes, as moving around with tools might loosen it, and/or use the self-sealing silicone tape to create a better seal. 2. The connector that the silver hose screws into: more of these should be included for the price. 3. in June 2025 the price for the Model "94698" 10' hose kit with adapters was around $37, whereas today it's listed at $52.97. If I were to purchase more of these, I'd like to think all the lower ranking employees are benefiting from the price hike just as much as any top ranking employee or possibly investors. The price hike contributes to everything costing more these days, so I hope it's justified in some way.

This system is awesome. So glad I bought it. Efficient, and works great with my Shop Vac.
LONG STORY SHORT: Great dust collection solution for your average, at-home wood shop. I'm a hobbyist and DIYer, so a commercial dust collection system would be major overkill, but this system is wonderful for keeping the dust manageable in my garage/woodshop. The quick clip system and multiple adapters make it super easy to switch from one tool to the next, and keep the power tools runnin. I've got adapters on my DeWALT Miter saw, my battery powered Circular saw, and my batter powered Sander. Just take the vacuum hose from one, and clip it to the next. PROS: -Quick Clip system is awesome, so you're not shoving a rubber connector on to every tool, just unclip, and re-clip into the next one. -Hose connector is designed to allow the hose to spin freely, so the hose isn't twisting as you change angles (most noticeable on the sander) -Long 16 foot hose makes it easy to leave your shop vac relatively in one place, and be able to reach multiple tools. -Air relief valve, and adjustment collar on each adapter. Prevents getting stuck on a tool. -Super easy to connect and disconnect. CONS: -Not really a con, but I wish they had sets that had more adapters for a specific type of tool line. For example, maybe you could get a 16ft hose with a "Dewalt style" adapter set. or "Milwaukee style" adapter set that works with most of their tools. I have a couple adapters that I don't have uses for at the moment. CONCLUSION: Buy it. It's reasonably priced, and REALLY helps cut down on the dust you kick up while working in your garage wood shop. **Shop Vac not included.

Good quality and several options of fittings for your hose to dust collector and orbital sander
Worked well for my orbital sanding system. Plenty of fittings to match shop vac and sander.

Great Kit. Turns my shop vac into a dust collector.
This is a great kit for the home owner /Diyer who dosen't have the room or need for a dedicated dust collection system. This is just what I was looking for to turn my shop vac into a dust collector. I have the Ridgid 11 gallon smart cart shop vac and this kit fits and works great with it. I just disconnect the factory ridgid shop vac hose and connect Cen-Tec hose. The fixed connector on one end of the hose fits into the shop vac port perfectly. The other end of the hose has a quick connect fitting that allows you to connect one of the different sized adapters. Now I can use my shop vac as a dust collector for my DeWalt 10" contractor table saw, my 12" miter saw and all my other hand tools that have a dust extraction port. The adaptors are made from a flexible rubber that stretch slightly to allow you to tightly fit them over the port on your tool. I like that the hose is a smaller diameter than my shop vac hose. The smaller diameter produces a very strong suction at the tool end. Plus the inside of the hose is smooth so your debris and dust will not get stuck in the hose like they do on a regular ribbed hose. I am glad I purchased this kit. It works great for my situation.

Performs but at a price
I have a Craftsman wet dry vac and bought this to attach to that and my assorted power tools, mostly Kobalt brand. I was expecting to be able to attach this hose to the Craftsman hose to extend the reach but the Cen-Tec didn't fit on the Craftsman hose so there's no extension option. However, it does connect to the vac directly on the 2 1/4 inch end by fitting snuggly inside port. But, here's the imperfection; the Craftsman has a clip to secure it to the vac and the Cen-Tec doesn't. The other end of the hose connects to the attachments with the blue clip-ins and then to the tool via a rubber opening. The result is that the connection wobbles and isn't secure. However, they included one hard plastic attachment that fits securely into the inside of the tool port. When it's all said and done, the goal is accomplished but the connection points feel like they will deteriorate over time. This seems to be a case of a product trying to be universal when it may be better off by focusing on only the most common products and clipping into place rather than rigging together friction dependent connections. Since this set costs more than some of the tools it attaches to, the question of price comes into play, and tempts me to buy a generic hose and find a couple of rubber sleeves that fit my tools at less than half the price.

Buy Centec, not the knock-offs, the small price difference is 100% worth it!
After seeing a number of positive reviews of Centec and their kits like this one and having just added a Dust Deputy Low-Pro to my Ridgid 12gal wet/dry vac, it was a perfect time to try this out. I accidentally purchased a knock-off of this Centec kit first, as the listing looked nearly identical. It was about $10 less, so out of curiosity, I didn't return it until I got this one so I could compare. The Centec is worth the small price difference for (at least) three reasons: 1) Knock-off version adapters are more rigid. The instructions tell you to dip the ends in hot water to make them more pliable. The Centec adapters are a bit more flexible and they slide on securely. Time=money, so +1 Centec. 2) knock-off version hose is not nearly as smooth on the inside as the Centec. My wet/dry vac needs all the help it can get pulling through 16' of 1-1/4" hose, so +1 Centec. 3) knock-off hose is significantly stiffer. The instructions say to lay it out for a few hours for it to straighten. Am I supposed to do this every time I unroll it? Or worse yet, leave it unrolled when not in use? Centec hose is nice and flexible out of the box, even after sitting on my porch all day while the high temp was 53ยฐF, so +1 Centec. It looks like you can buy additional, single adapters. It also looks like Centec offers a long hose on a reel than can be wall-mounted. So you're not limited to just what comes in this kit if you wanted to expand your setup.

Very good system
It's a bit pricy but you get a lot for your money. I have it on a few tools now and still have some spare connections left for any future tool I want to add.
