Solid and Looks Great!
An excellent product! Solid and beautifully finished. We have good municipal water. Regardless, filtered water from the fridge tasted better than the tap, so we decided to get a filtration system and dedicated faucet for coffee, cooking, etc. I chose Moen’s F9800 filter and S5530SRS faucet. The faucet looks nice and operates smoothly, producing a solid laminar flow. Laminar means the water comes out of the spout as a smooth, nearly perfect column of water, lacking turbulence. The benefit is that the water dispensed is immediately crystal clear, free of the haze caused by aeration. Installation was simple with one caveat: make sure the surface beneath the escutcheon is as clean and smooth as possible so the gasket seals well. Shortly after installation I noticed occasional drops of water in the cabinet. I removed the faucet and found that I had missed a bit of silicone on the countertop from the soap dispenser that I removed to install the faucet. Splashed water was getting under the gasket and dripping through the hole in the granite. With every bit removed the gasket now seals 100%. As others have mentioned, the escutcheon is painted plastic. Though a disappointment, the finish is indistinguishable from the metal unless you look really, really close! Hopefully the finish lasts. And the filter-change light is superfluous. It is controlled by a simple, battery-powered timer in the Moen filter housing. After the user-selected time of either 6 months or 12 months elapses the light goes on alerting you to change the filter. I don’t really see any value in this - it’s not too hard to remember when to change a filter. I hooked up the light anyway, though would prefer a metal escutcheon without the light. So, two minor gripes of painted plastic and pointless filter light - 4.5 Stars.

Impressively solid and labeled as being manufactured in the US with domestic/global parts !!
Another perfect transaction-arrived quickly and in absolutely pristine condition-well done Amazon. The faucet has heft and feels as though it was machined from a single piece of steel-the finish is magnificent and flawless in every way shape and form. The brass stem is impressive in and of itself-a mirror finish, devoid of any machining marks or cosmetic imperfections, museum quality really... The action of the stem and lever/cartridge is, as is said-silky smooth. The sole area of improvement possible is in the escutcheon as it is plastic, a magnificent looking piece of plastic with the same perfect finish but plastic none the less-I would have liked metal. In the specs I found prior to ordering the product was listed as needing a 1 1/4" hole and the one I received has a brass stem of roughly 9/16" so the needed penetration would have to be that rather than a much larger one-the provided escutcheon does completely cover the existing 1 1/4" hole in our stainless steel sink. Also , the escutcheon does have an electronic device with led that must provide info on when to change the filters if used with Moen's filtering system - the install instructions state to mount the led to the rear if not needed. Lastly, the model we received, S5530, was available at nearly 40% less than what two wholesale houses we do business with wanted for the exact same model. I did neglect to add that this faucet is designed to be attached using a 3/8" compression connection-should your system use 1/4" tube the solution is easy and financially painless. John Guest makes a 1/4" tube to 3/8" compression adapter- p/n PP6008U9W- we needed two one for the faucet stem and one for the angle stop. The 'gasketed' adapter attaches directly to the compression threads and provides-sans tape/dope- an absolutely water tight connection using nsf (International) rated John Guest LLDPE tubing rather than the conventional flex pigs that carry the usual advisories . Lastly I can also attest to the remarkable water flow of this faucet compared to both the stock faucet and the replacement , the increase is at least 30% and likely closer to 50% greater.

High quality faucet that works and looks like new 2 years in
I've been using this for quite a while now, and it is awesome. High quality, nice modern look, and works smoothly and easily. I used it with a Waterdrop under-sink filtration system. The tap the Waterdrop water filter came with was cheaply made, and this was an upgrade that was totally worth it.

Expensive but works great
This is a solid, well made cold water faucet. The "style" is straight forward practical. This is a "pricy" unit but so are all the higher quality and full flow alternatives.

Great quality and finish
Great quality and finish. Priced too high, but it is a specialty item. It costs more than the sink faucet, sink or the soap dispenser. There are much cheaper quality cold water/filtered water faucets out there, but if you want solid stainless steel instead of brushed nickle, you are limited in selection. This Moen seems solid and complements the faucet style and finish. Looks like they are made by the same manufacturer. Moen is guaranteed for life.

Hydration Station: A Faucet That Gets the Job Done
When I splurged on the Moen Spot Resistant Stainless Sip Modern Cold Water Kitchen Beverage Faucet, I half expected it to pour gold for what it cost. But, you know what? It's built like a tank and runs smoother than my new car. The flow rate is fantastic—like a mini Niagara Falls right in my kitchen. It fits aesthetically with my main faucet of a different brand like they were separated at birth, which is a major win for my inner interior designer. Hooking it up to my RO system, though, was a bit like a treasure hunt—without the map. I had to turn into a detective to find the right adapters, diving deep into the internet's abyss to unearth the manual and figure out the exact size of the faucet end. Thankfully, once I had all the pieces of the puzzle, my handyman snapped it all together without breaking a sweat. Now, it's all systems go for hydration with zero fuss. This faucet might have cost me a pretty penny, but it's proven itself as a swanky, reliable addition to my kitchen command center. If your wallet can handle the initial shock, your taste buds and décor sensibilities will thank you!

Very nice water faucet
We use this Moen faucet for filtered water. It looks very nice and has a very laminar flow output, no bubbles caused by an aerator. It also has very smooth handle movement. I Would purchase another if needed.
